This place is the absolute epitome of hole in the wall. A beautifully brand new building, that’s a little slice of paradise in the middle of the woods. The staff were very attentive and friendly to me and my developmentally disabled friend that was with me. The food was delicious of fresh. We sat at the bar, which was heated and EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. We ended our meals with a shake and some very large cookies to go.

Food was really good. Definitely a wait to get food…however worth the wait. Awsome atmosphere and clean. Only complaint…only scrambled eggs are offered and they were kinda funky. I’ll be back and highly recommend.

Beautiful location 15 miles up Blaine road from Beaver Or. Service is great and restaurant is clean and comfortable. Decent menu for the limited kitchen. Food is good & serving sizes are large. Be prepared to share or take some home.

What a great place to discover! Big, healthy breakfast plates with lots of scramble options, and personal service to make us feel so welcome. Setting is deep in the forest on the way to the Oregon Coast. Newly built, modern look and clean, comfortable seating areas indoors and outside on a sunny patio. The tables are equipped with gas fire pits for chilly evenings. Definitely go check it out!

My wife and I had been mapping trails in the Nestucca River area and were heading home when we passed this little gem. Both our heads snapped to the right as we got a glimpse of the restaurant set back off the road. Did you see that? When did that open? Do you wanna?, yup. We pulled ahead about 100 yards where we were able to turn around. We looked at each other and smiled as you could see tracks from others before us that had done the same thing. It’s a quaint building in a beautiful wooded setting with several residences near by. We were cheerfully greeted and given a brief explanation of their history then seated outside as requested. The service was friendly and quick, and food portions were large. The burgers were easily the best I had eaten in years and the calamari plate was huge and just delicious. We will definitely plan our trips to the coast making sure Outpost On The River is a regular stop.
