We visited here Memorial Day weekend with our family and it was delicious. Between us we had the burgers and shrimp baskets and they were both really good. As an appetizer we had the onion strings and bottle caps that were also delicious. The staff was very welcoming and we would definitely come back.

So, in the beginning of June (2023), I was visiting the wife’s hometown of Freeport Tx for the first time. She booked us a place in an old downtown district at some lofts. Around the corner was this gem. Stopped in on a whim during an afternoon, and even though it was during an off hour, the service was quick, and the quality was good. The young lady that was working was very pleasant and polite. I’ll be suggesting this establishment and frequenting it often after we move to the area this coming year.

Damn good catfish and shrimp! Friendly bartender, but I can’t recall her name. A drunk regular engaged me about a mystery gourd he found, suggesting it could be an alien egg. I could have stayed there all night, drank and BS’d, but my wife was waiting back at the hotel!

i don’t have a car but it was the only thing opened so i walked an hour to get there. when i get there i try to order a drink and the woman says “you don’t look like your ID picture.” First of all, i very much do. Secondly, i said by birthday very fast and eye color and everything there was absolutely no reason why i should have been refused except for the fact that I didn’t fit the regular profile of people around this area. She took her personal preferences into work.

This place is great. I loved the atmosphere! If you are a local its a great place to have a few drinks with friends after work. I met some old co-workers after visiting the area for work and had a few drinks and AMAZING shrimp!!!! My husband and I rode our bike down the very next day and we enjoyed the live music and tried a couple more things on the menu. The staff is amazing. The owners are super sweet and will walk right up and talk to ya like you are family! We will be back.
