Everything was amazing. The owner is so friendly he greeted us so warmly when we opened the door. We immediately said, “yep, we picked the right place.” The food was amazing, portion sizes are perfect, and the pricing is very reasonable. The service was great. I definitely need to go back soon! The croissants are…just go get one.

Today was my second time stepping out of the usual and into the fabulous. The food and service are amazing and it’s more than worth your time to drive into Milwaukie if you live in Portland. Everything is crafted with care and attention to detail and the menu is broad enough to serve different tastes and yet stays focused on excellence. I can’t wait to devour everything here again soon!

My friend and I came for brunch and sat out on the shaded patio. Such a great atmosphere. Very cute and there are hanging flower baskets, flowers on the table and various plants along the side of the restaurant. Owner is very nice and came to greet us. Food was delicious! If you haven’t been here yet I would highly recommend, they buy their food local, so support local restaurants!

This place is surprisingly really homie and cute! The atmosphere is amazing and the servers are really nice. We ordered the Ovation Burger and the Risotto D’ Automne and both were delicious. It’s a shame we didn’t get the Truffle fries due to a miscommunication with the servers and kitchen but it’s alright. For drinks we had the Apple Jackrabbit and it was sweet and enjoyable. We were billed incorrectly but the server was able to fix it and take care of it. I would definitely come back again!

Romano is a genuine, outgoing and helpful owner/waiter/chef/etc who knows that a pleasant experience is one that you’re likely to repeat. I chose to be seated outside among the “secret” garden of plants that he’s created. While most outdoor eating areas are open to traffic, he’s expertly trellised plants to give it a more intimate feeling. Not to mention that all the plants help keep the temperature of the concrete down by several degrees! I ordered the sliders and truffle fries and while it was a “heavy” dinner it couldn’t have been more delicious. It’s amazing when restaurants make their own patties to include some FLAVOR! Oh, and if you’re ever in the area and need to smile, Romano will be sure to give you one if you ever pop in for a visit, whether that be from his outgoing personality, the delectable food or the excellent service!
