We had a wonderful experience. We were visiting Chattanooga and wanted a unique experience for our kids. We did a quick Google search and found the Overboard and decided to try it out. The kids thought it was great. Being on a boat was fun for them and they had foosball and arcade games to keep them entertained. There’s tons of comfortable seating from tables to big couches and chairs. Marsha served us and she was great. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. She even took the attached picture for us! The food is priced below most other local restaurants and really good! Love the pretzel buns on the burgers. We give 5 stars and will come back when we visit again! Definitely recommend!

Overboard Bar and Grill on 2nd deck replaced the 3Rd deck burger bar. Love the open center floor space overlooking the gift shop below. You can belly up to the U shaped bar or sit in a living room area on a couch.

Ordered Plain Jane Cheeseburger (that’s it’s name). Asked to not include onion, lettuce, tomato & pickles – they said I’d have to take them off myself. Ok. Then informed the cheese is on the side and not on the burger. I have to put cheese on myself as ‘not everyone wants melted cheese on their cheeseburger”. See pic of slice of cheese under the burger. Not sure who doesn’t prefer melted cheese on the burger but all this makes for an unusual dining experience. My recommendation: get drinks, enjoy the atmosphere, eat somewhere else or get the fries ( they’re delicious)

As soon as you walk in, you will love the atmosphere. The staff is friendly and SPOT ON when it comes to treating the customers right. Shelly, is amazing. She is very friendly and very knowledgeable in knowing how to make your experience there pleasant. Food and drinks are great, and staff is quick to get you your food. Always a smile and great attitudes with all the staff. Most definitely recommend trying this place out, you will no doubt want to go back for more.

Nice being on the water, but the inside was pretty blah. Only 2 of us and the place wasn’t busy, but food still took more than a half hour just for a burger and salad. For the price, the food was small. Small burger (I’ve seen bigger in kids meals) . Small salad. Don’t come here expecting any kind of table service or to leave full. They brought our food, but ABSOLUTELY nothing else. You go get your own drinks at a soda dispenser. I have no idea why I tipped other than I paid before the meal thinking we would get table service. You either pay before your meal or run up a tab of you’re getting drinks. We were visiting Chattanooga and the place sounded interesting online. Big disappointment!

Completely renovated 2nd deck at the Southern Belle dock. New TVs, great food and drinks, and welcoming staff make this new hangout a must try. Great stop before or after a cruise on the Southern Belle riverboat, or even if you are just looking for a nice spot to spend time with friends and family.

This is an iconic place and if you are a tourist you must come here. The fact that is inside a boat gives it a Casino vibes, a lot of seating and gaming areas inside. You can also eat in the terrace with a nice river view. I’m giving 4 starts because they seem under staffed and the food took 35 min (for burgers). Also the don’t allow any changes on anything (you can’t remove onions even if you are allergic).

We were a party of six last night and had a wonderful casual dinner with great cocktails, great view and wonderful staff at the Overboard burger bar. Shelley was especially wonderful seeing all our needs. It’s a great casual venue when you don’t need to worry about standing in line and you can get a delicious burger, salad, or starter.

Fantastic place! My wife and I live downtown and this is a regular Sunday afternoon visit. The food is great, especially the burgers, and they have an excellent bar selection, but it’s our Overboard friends that keep us coming back. We have been visiting Shelly for years and always love hanging out with her. Recently we met Dana and Jailen. They are carrying on the friendly tradition. The team, the people, the beautiful remodel… highly recommended.
