Had lunch here for the first time today and loved the vibe! For $16, you get a giant meal with generous servings of protein (two choices of meat). My husband and I both had filipino style mixed plate. I got double chicken and he got chicken and adobo pork. Everything was great! I appreciated how big their lumpia was. Also their home made sweet chili sauce added so much flavor to everything! I used it on both chicken and lumpia. It definitely has an after kick so warning if you can’t handle spicy. The food in general is very

I had a great meal at their food truck years ago and I’ve been looking forward to their brick & mortar location for a long time, only to be a tad bit disappointed with what I received. Pretty cramped little restaurant, decent service, and food that just wasn’t as good as I remember. The huli huli chicken was a bit bland, the adobo pork was good (but I only got like 3 bites of it), and the pork belly sisig was very dry and VERY spicy. I can handle some spice, but I had to remove basically all the raw chiles to even be able to eat it (be careful because the menu doesn’t even mention the word “spicy” on it).

What a great little place! I had Filipino plate with pork, super good! The staff was happy, friendly, and went out of their way to acknowledge and help me. I forgot to order my macaroni salad, but they made sure I got some anyway. Will be back with more friends.

We went here for the first time yesterday for lunch. It was da bomb!!!! We lived in Hawaii twice over the past 30 some years (stationed there with the Navy). We have missed a lot of the food you can get there but then came Over Rice! OMG!! The food is so authentic It’s just as if we were back there! We tried the Chicken Katsu plate, Lumpia (Pork), the Loco Moco plate which has 2 Hamburger patties over Rice with gravy and 2 Sunny side eggs on top, a Hawaiian plate with Pork Adobo, Kailua Pork, Rice and Mac Salad, another Hawaiian plate with Huli Huli Chicken, the Pork Belly plate, Pancit, Ube cake and last but not least Haupia. I think we bought one of everything!! We have a lot of leftovers that will last us for a couple of days! It is the next best thing to being in Hawaii, food wise anyways. You get a LOT of food as you can see in the photos. DEFINITELY recommend this place!!!!!

I used to work on the island of Saipan and had many Filipino co-workers and friends and truly missed their cooking. It was great to find OverRice on IG after they were recommended by a restaurant reviewer. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We were able to talk to the owner, Joel, about his history and inspiration for his restaurant and cuisine. We ordered the Filipino Style plate with pork adobo, pancit and lumpia Shanghai . The pork was very tender and the lumpia was divine. It just melts in your mouth. I’d definitely return and try more dishes.

It was tasty. I have had them from the food truck a few times and hope to do so again soon. I love Hawaiian cuisine so any opportunity to find some huli huli chicken on the mainland is a win.

This review is for the food truck at the Filipino Freedom Fest. 45 dollars for a platter. The total number of platter we bought among our group were 4 platters. They advertised that this platter feeds 2-3 people on their Facebook. Way over-price and my friend’s platter was also missing the sausage. Missing food for that kind of price? They get you by not showing the price while people wait in a long line and finally cave in because they are hungry. What a scam.

I’ve been following Overrice around since experiencing their food truck for lunch at my office several years ago. I’m so excited that they now have a restaurant so I can get their amazing food whenever I want! The owners are the nicest, most hard working people I’ve ever met. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!
