I was hungry after a long haul from Kansas, I saw this bar and grill and decided it would be nice and cool in there cuz it was really hot outside I walked in and I was how do I say it I was so overly welcomed bye some older gentleman. Who were sitting around the table having beer a coffee whatever they were having and they were just so Pleasant. I remember a dog came up to me kind of a big dog I’m not sure but it kind of looked like a Golden Lab. I stood there for a second thinking uh oh. However this dog was so friendly he came up and sniff me then went back and lay down and under the table where the gentlemen were sitting. I sit down at the bar bartender came up to me and asked what I would like we got into a little conversation first not really sure what was about I think I asked about the restaurant the bartender was very pleasant and I ordered a bowl of chili with some crackers that chili I’m not kidding was the greatest chili I have ever tasted I don’t know what was different about it but it was totally delicious and I had a beer to go with it girl Miller Lite which just happens to me my favorite! This Bar and Grill was also a bowling alley, nobody was bowling which I was glad there was no bullying as I had a headache, and I was very hot. The price of the meal was very reasonable. I sure would like to know the recipe to that chili though. When I asked the bartender he told me it was a old family recipe isn’t that what everybody says?

Beer price went to $3 because of bowling leagues starting. I’m not paying three dollar for one can of Bud Light. All the owner did was complain to me about stuff. I’ll go to the Grandview where beer is still $2.75 and the staff won’t complain to me about stuff.

Friendly, fun place with 6 or 8 lanes and a couple of pool tables. If THAT weren’t enough, the food is great, inexpensive pub grub…the Barman is friendly and fun to talk with…the four folks in the pic were in there the night I was, albeit in winter clothing…nice folks….the Prime Rib Sandwich is a winner…. doesn’t need overtime…
