Cozy, relaxing, classy interior, excellent salads; this is the third time in the last week I’ve had the smoked salmon salad, delicious! It comes with a cilantro lime dressing that is so good I could drink it:) the club? salad features lots of great meats, wonderful veggies; all dressings are homemade and outstanding. The queso and pork rinds and bacon-wrapped jalapeno poppers are delicious. (I get cravings for both) burgers are very good. The staff is nice, welcoming, and they are a good team; helping each other out. We look forward to stopping in again soon, thank you for consistently good meals and fun times.

Very good food and service. Not just my waitress but everyone who worked there was helpful. I had the Herman Muenster Burger and upgraded to the fried Brussels. Both were excellent. It had the owl theme going on inside and made some interesting pictures. Also unique was the 3-D mural on the side of the building next door. They have a nice covered patio which is pet friendly.

This place was the best food we had in the whole state of Michigan! Salads were amazing! The half smoked chicken was tender, moist and had an amazing flavor! Their johnny cakes were absolutely terrific!!!! We returned two other times in the week were in Alpena and were not disappointed once!!!! Great service, prices and amazing food!!!! It is a must for our family from now on!

Great place to eat and hang out. Nice beer selection with many craft choices on tap. The food was great! I had the siracha Mac and cheese. Great mix of flavors and made there, not from a box. The workers and very friendly and helpful. Definitely will come back here when I’m in the area.

Pretty okay southern-style comfort food served here. However the service is the slowest in Alpena and on a busy weekend during brunch hours, you’ll be waiting around an hour for your food. Brunch and select menu items are tasty. They should consider ripping out the old-fashioned carpeting.

The service was good. We got the flat iron steak, which tasted like it had smoked or marinated for days. I seriously spit out the bite I took. The brussel sprouts were flavorless and tough, and my fries were cold.
