I’ve walked by this restaurant so many times and finally made it in – if you’re looking for a satisfying burger this is definitely the place to try! The Lao-American fusion take on burgers and sandwiches leads to some really interesting dishes. I especially liked the Lao Burger. My one note is that there is very limited seating and we had to wait a long time for our food. Also, not super vegetarian friendly. But nothing bad enough to rate this place anything lower than 4 stars!

Love ox burger! So happy to see Taurus ox keeping this restaurant location in the fam since their new opening down the hill. Obvi the Lao burger is THE hit, but we tried a chicken sandwich and some fries and everything was fantastic. The chill vibe at this location is perfect for lunch. Love hearing the kitchen right there, such a cozy vibe in here.

Ok so I’m really picky about burgers. I simply won’t pay for a burger that tastes as good as something I can make. That said, Ox burger delivered on all fronts. I’ve had their deluxe burger and their Lao burger, each on a tasty gluten free bun, with vegan cheese. Add some tasty, crispy fries that are amazingly delicious and my family and I had to come back every time we go to SEATTLE. Fast forward several months and Ox burgers food and service has been consistently perfect. Every. single.Time. I’ll be going there every time!!!!!

Ox Burger is a spinoff of the restaurant “Taurus Ox” – the latter of whose “Lao Burger” was so popular, the owners decided to create a separate burger spot for it — nestled in Capitol Hill 3 blocks east of Cal Anderson park. I went on the last day of their soft opening.

Just the best burgers, and the ox cheese fries are tasty as f***. Plus one of the best selections of rotating beers. Hitting northwest brewer heavyweights like Stoup, E9 and Rainier. Sweet baby clay, Lao burger, and ox burger are my favorites currently. Though I just decimated the sour dough burg with an egg…. Mmmmm

No joke, One of the best burgers I’ve had. Great dipping sauces. And the fries nail that perfect crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside texture. Great staff, chill atmosphere. I’m gonna tell all my friends to grab a bite here!

Great location for outdoor seating on a corner of Madison and 16th. Had the Lao burger and to be honest was disappointed. The meat was overly salty reducing the other fixings flavors, but the soft-serve was really tasty and excellent.
