The only bad thing about this review is that I don’t give five stars ever and over $269 reviews… The decorations were on point. The atmosphere was on point. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The menu was varied enough but not excessively varied that anything we ordered didn’t taste and appear great. I would have to agree with their sign. They are definitely the best sushi in Oxford. Highly recommend even if you live 30 -45 minutes from here. Still worth a drive!!!!!

my mother & I tried it for the first time yesterday & it was way better than we expected!! We’re fairly biased & usually buy kroger sushi since they’ve been there for years but we found our new favorite place! 10/10 would recommend, everything tasted wonderful & great prices for the amount of food! (pictured is all regular rolls: eel cucumber, spicy yellowtail, philly, tuna, spicy shrimp avocado tempura)

The service is absolutely atrocious. The sushi is pretty good, but the service takes away so much from the overall experience. I would only recommend going here when the sushi is half priced. If it isn’t half priced then I would say their prices are slightly higher than normal. However, you can’t beat their prices during the days that it is offered for half price. Also, try to do carry out if you can/ want to just go avoid having to deal with the terrible service.

Came I’m at 7:30 to being the only table there. Our server did her job, but she seemed to not want to make small talk. She wasn’t rude and she was very nice, but I’m not sure if is exactly a social person. I got 3 rolls, Crunch Jalapeno, Philly, and Eel. Both were very tasty. I’d go back when it’s a little more busy.

We ordered one thing of crab rangoons, he brought out two orders, they tasted like untraditional crab Rangoons, he never once brought us napkins. The girl gave us terrible dirty looks. Terrible service and dirty on store!!

The sushi is quite good! The service was quite poor. We were seated at a table that was preset with 2 sets of chopsticks. We had 3 people in our party. After our food was served we waited…and waited. I finally hunted someone down for another place setting. I ordered hot tea and was brought a mug of lukewarm water with a teabag in it. A large exuberant birthday party came in and sat at the bar. Afterwards we didn’t see another single waitstaff. After we hunted down an employee to get our bill, our original wait person, whom we hadn’t seen since they took our order, magically showed up and said with a wide grin, “I hope you enjoyed your meal!”

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and were surprised at how many families also had the same idea. It was fairly crowded, with about half of the patrons being children under 10 on this particular day. So it was more than a little upsetting when Bonfire by Childish Gambino started playing loudly over the speakers. I can’t even post the lyrics here because they are so explicit. And now I know kids hear music like this all the time, I just don’t think it’s professional to play it in a family restaurant. It was uncomfortable to listen to, and judging by the looks and murmurs from other patrons, we weren’t alone in thinking this. Have some tact guys.

Funny story: me and my girlfriend ordered sweet potato rolls for take out from this place one time. On the receipt, it said that they had “eel sauce” on it. Being vegetarians, we got up and told them what happened. We asked them if they could make one without meat products. Everyone there didn’t know what to do and finally this one girl came out and said that her manager said she couldn’t take the sauce off and if we wanted some without eels we had to pay more. Since the food was already done, we just took it and left 🙁
