Maybe it should be a 4 star. The only reason I knocked it down a star is that the crab cake is made from surimi. I even discussed my choices on the seafood platter with my waitress and she made no mention of the artificial crab. I don’t recall seeing it listed that way on the menu either. If I did I would have ordered another choice. Not to say it wasn’t tasty. The fish and oysters were very good. Cooked well and very fresh tasting. I think the collards have room for improvement with some better seasoning, maybe cook them with smoked Turkey for that extra flavor. The grits were good but after trying grits with cheese, that’s the only way I’ll order them from now on. I thought the hush puppies were a little dry. Not a bad little spot.

Never disappointed when we come here. Super friendly staff, clean, and if you go away hungry it’s your own fault. My mom’s favorite place to go to get fried chicken! It’s the bomb!!

Very friendly and small town feel, we really enjoyed the restaurant. Our server was very nice, and the food was good. We ordered the key lime pie but unfortunately they were out of it. But that ended up being a great thing, because our server recommended the banoffee pie. We weren’t to sure of it, but it ended up being the best pie I think we’ve ever had!

I was craving oysters so bad. Looked around and my buddy and I met here at oysters. We were greeted by the sweetest fastest waitress. I ordered the clam chowder which was delicious my buddy ordered a salad which he said was super fresh and of course we ordered two dozen oysters raw. Our oysters were so huge and juicy the flavor was something my taste buds will forever cherish and let’s not forget how fresh these oysters were that they had baby crabs in them. You will not be disappointed with going to this place.

The wife and I love going to Oysters for breakfast. The food and service is consistently excellent and the eggs Benedict hollandaise sauce melts in your mouth. The price is less than some fast food places! On Sundays the regulars are there with Bernadette, our favorite waitress. I hope this Nature Coast gem is around a long time

We went with our friends it was a little over an hour and a half away the food was delicious and Hot. Our friends had been there a few times before and they raved about the scallops buffet but it was closed on Sundays. I would have liked to try that. Maybe next time. All in all was very good.
