Went here with my family and all of the food was delicious, we can’t wait to go back. A great Japanese food find on the Big Island! The staff in the food truck are so kind and friendly too.

We had the pork katsu curry rice, yakisoba and taiyakis (red bean and custard flavour). They serve really delicious comfort food and I’m definitely going back for more (especially the custard taiyaki)!

This place is simply amazing and had some of the most delicious Japanese food I’ve ever had outside of Japan. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The katsu pork with egg bowl was our favorite. The French fries were simply amazing and cooked to perfection. Everything we had was wonderful and we’ll be going back again this trip. I highly recommend.

Family-run, Japanese food truck with the fairest prices and most generous portions I’ve seen on Big Island. Their shave ice uses real ingredients, like matcha and mango.

Authentic Japanese food cart. Chef is from Osaka I believe. Their karaage (Japanese style fried chicken) was SO flavorful. Totally crave worthy. I had it as part of a bento with pork katsu added. They also serve taiyaki (filled waffle-like dessert in the shape of a fish) and kakigori (Japanese style shaved ice).

Amazing lil roadside stand serving Japanese comfort food. We got the combo and curry rice with fried chicken (which is karaage), as well as a custard taiyaki. Each dish comes with a side salads: sunomono, macaroni salad and cabbage with ginger dressing. So yummy, highly recommend.

It was a very delightful surprise to find this food truck on the big island. As it suggests on the title, authentic Japanese food. Must try their 1/2 pork 1/2 chicken bento.

Had the custard taiyaki, pretty interesting. The fries tasted like onion rings, super crispy. The chicken bowl was good but not great. Nice mid road trip stop.

Awesome spot off the highway that we stumbled upon for lunch. The service was super friendly, and the food was so fresh and delicious and perfectly cooked. I got the pork katsu curry, which was so tasty. We wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next visit!

Nice Japanese food truck right off the highway. Good value and taste. I got the half half katsu bento and really liked the karaage chicken. Also if you’re an Ube fan like me don’t miss their Ube Tayaki. Service is fast and you can also call to order in advance. There is a nice tent right behind it where you can enjoy the food.
