Friday morning breakfast early at 8 am. The cafe was super busy, but my coffee cup was never below half full. Lots of locals and the place was packed. The three egg ham and cheese omelette (I added mushrooms) was very hearty. The hash browns had a good mix of crunch without being hard. The pancake was the size of my plate and big enough to share. Overall a good solid breakfast.

Excellent fried chicken!! I has a 3 piece and it’s cooked to order. Cool little town. Had a 3 1/2 hour layover and hung out at the fountain on the square. There is a lot of the town’s history I would love to delve into. If your ever in Berryville Arkansas at the square by the fountain, look around and you will find a gargoyle watching you from one of the windows.

Oh My Goodness!!! The food is so good and the atmosphere is friendly and down home. I love trying local flavor restaurants when I am out of town. The biscuits here were the fluffiest and most moist I think I have ever eaten. Almost worth a 7 hour drive just to eat them again!! I highly recommend stopping in.

It was almost 9 and the place was BUSY. Seat yourself and within a couple of minutes we were greeted by our super nice, friendly and helpful waitress. I asked what she would have, and went with it! (Minus the bacon) I had the single biscuits and gravy with one egg cooked medium on top. All was wonderful and the coffee is good! We came to take in the history and the food and it was well worth it!
