Top notch cuisine! Friendly and patient staff. Excellent presentation! A very nice place for a quality meal. Only 4 stars because of hard chairs and fussy men’s bathroom soap dispenser and light is on the outside. Weird, older building quirk I guess. We had a great meal here! General Tao and Katsu was perfect. The side salad had a very nice ginger dressing that was very refreshing! Our two sushi rolls were very tasty as well. I look forward to dining here again. We’ll done!

Still continues to be my favorite sushi restaurant, been going here for over 15 years. The service is excellent, and the food is always top notch. The prices have gone up slightly, as of late, but such is life with inflation. Lunch special is served very fast for those on a time crunch. I’ve never gone here and left disappointed.

The salmon sashimi was a favorite, also loved the squid salad. We were the last ones in there for the night so they brought us out a bunch of delightful extras. The chef was very passionate and proud of his dishes and did a fantastic job. Overall the service was thoughtful and kind. The miso soup was the best I have had from any place so far. The prices seemed high when looking at the lists but honestly was similar in price to any other quality Japanese restaurant in Yakima or Tricities when all said and done (I can only speak for those areas). We got the Omakase platter also and it was actually less expensive than other versions of the chefs platter at other Japanese restaurants we have experienced (and just as good or better). Note: This is not the coast, and clearly they do what they can to stock and have available the freshest fish. I am sure it isn’t cheap or easy to regulate the quality in that way, but I feel they are doing a great job being as though we are somewhat far from the coast. The location can seem slightly in a more under-updated part of town, but the resturant inside and out has a modern Japanese feel to it and was peaceful to attend. Glad we went for our 11 year anniversary. I would recommend this place over many other Japanese restaurants in the area.

Terrible service. Used to love coming here with my son during covid times. I returned since I missed it. But was so disappointed. The waitress used to know exactly how I ordered my salmon and this time around it was terrible it was rude amd condescending service. So much for being a loyal customer during covid times.
