PB’s Takeout has the BEST hot dogs in Winston-Salem. Besides the fact that they have won many awards for their hot dogs, once you take a bite of one for yourself, you’ll certainly understand why. PB’s is a little hole in the wall place that if you didn’t know about their delicious food, you’d probably just keep on driving by. During lunch time, the place is usually packed. It isn’t very big inside and the seating is limited. I usually just get my orders to go. The line moves very fast, so don’t worry if you get there and it is coming out of the door. Try this place out if you haven’t! It’s GREAT!

It’s a small place nothing crazy, but the food is great! I heard their hotdogs and wings were stellar in the past; so when I walked out of my barbershop I seen it across the street, I had to try something. The buns were buttered and toasted perfectly, the toppings were generous but not overpowering… honestly it’s the best hotdog I’ve had in a while and it’s definitely the best I’ve had in Winston… kudos and I’ll be back to try the wings. The one downside, is that it’s cash only.

Very pricey for low quality food . My husband got the 2 hot dog special and I got one hot dog with cheese fries and it came out to be 18$ . I heard great things about this place and decided to try it out just to be let down .

As always great food, the hotdogs are quite good esp when loaded, chili, slaw, mustard and onion. Our boys love it here, the chicken patty was solid white meat looking patty.

Hadn’t eaten at PB’s in a couple of years and was in the neighborhood, so I dropped in. It used to be at least 4 stars, but not any more. The hot dogs were pretty salty. The bun was oily, and the French fries were just so-so.

This CASH ONLY business has some of the best Burgers in town. Thick hearty beef cooked on the flat grill that probably gives them that seasoned flavor of years of hot dogs & burgers being cooked on them. Make sure you get a side of their perfectly cooked fries, not too crunchy on outside and soft on inside. Only complaint I have is I need more fries! You would think their food would be overly greasy but it is not. You can get your items with what ever extras you want on them like pickles & onions. Free refills on your fountain drinks to wash it all down. The place is small with limited indoor seating and 3 picnic tables outside. Amble private parking so you have no excuse not to visit……just don’t forget the cash! Staff is always courteous and friendly.
