Delicious food and a friendly atmosphere make this small town 50s diner a must whether you live here or are just passing by. I’ve eaten here many times, but today, I had the large turkey cheeseburger with potato planks. The burger had a lean, yet rich and meaty flavor and the slaw, pickles and onion gave it a nice sweetness and a bit of a zing. For dessert, I had their apple pie with a slice of American cheese on top. While many in the South would find this combination odd, it goes very well together. My band director recommended it to me when. I was in high school and it’s been a favorite of mine since!

I’ve always loved this place. It’s a little on the expensive side but it’s worth it.

Excellent small Restaurant. Feels like a 1950’s time capsule, and is small and comfy. All the staff are very nice, and talk to you “just like ya momma would!”. The food was very good, as well. I ordered a cheeseburger, and everything was fantastic about it. Wasn’t too thick, nor too thin. Just the right amount of cheese, cooked just long enough, and was tasty throughout. For dessert I had a Chess pie, which was warm, sweet, and ended the meal perfectly. This place feels like going to grandma’s house after a long day. Just right! The atmosphere just makes you feel at ease and in a simpler time. The Prices aren’t necessarily high, but some small things are just a tad high; it’s between McDonald’s and Applebees in terms of price, if that helps. Not too bad!

Me and my sister went in yesterday to get some food. And y’all it brought back so many memories of my child hood. We got to talking to a lady, whom was 77 and was a sweet sweet lady. She gave us some history on PV’S HUT. She first went in 1964 when it was behind the post office. Very cool, good was very good, and the home made lemon marang pie was AMAAAAZING….

I read so many great reviews before trying this place. Unfortunately, It didn’t live up to them. It was a cute place. The food was okay. First off, they don’t sell BBQ anymore, even though it is still on the menu. I had the slaw burger. The idea is good, the delivery failed because the food just isn’t that good. The desserts we tried(Peach cobbler and Chess Pie) were awful. I couldn’t even eat mine. I honestly can’t recommend it. I had such high hopes!

They gave a great burger and home made pies. They say the potato planks are really good but I didn’t order any cause I wanted to save room for that great pie. I’ll definitely be going back when I’m in that area again

Unique little diner in downtown Union City that’s been “serving great food since 1953.” It’s true! A PV cheeseburger comes with slaw, onion, and pickles, and offers a uniquely satisfying taste to make you come back. Don’t be afraid if that’s not your style because they can make it however you want and can substitute with lettuce, tomato, etc. Their french fries are crispy and the pies are phenomenal! Check them out!

Stellar burgers. An area institution. ’50’s diner vibe. Great homemade pies. Fudgenut warmed with a scoop of ice cream is the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Friendly staff and great service. Watch the cook make your burger on the grill just on the other side of the counter. Worth visiting on a regular basis.

PV’s is our favorite diner and we love Sue, who is the owner! Their food is awesome! Some go for the wonderful chicken salad, but we go for the “PV” burgers! Yummy and unique to them!! Never a bad experience at P.V.’s!
