What an amazing local business. I’ve been here a few times, and each time it just seems to get better. This is some of the best chicken you can buy, locally, hands down. Perfectly cooked and wonderfully seasoned. The prices are more than fair for what you receive. They have an amazing selection of breakfast, lunch and dinner foods available. I wish the owners the best best of luck and hopefully many, many more years of serving the best chicken to Northwest Indiana.

My wife told me about this place and said that everyone was raving about the chicken, so we decided to try it. We stopped for lunch on a Friday at 11:45pm and there were only a couple tables open. This is a small place (think authentic 50s diner, not the kind with pictures of Elvis and reproduction Coke signs), with maybe 30 people max seating. Whatever you do, don’t judge the book by its cover.

First visit and a bit disappointed. Chicken was good but not crispy and was a bit greasy. Slaw is good. Strawberry lemonade tasted like water, hardly any taste and was about $4 for a small glass. Way overpriced. Prices overall are high for what you get. First visit and last. Some kind of motor running, probably the air conditioner and so loud we had to shout at each other.

Stopped into Pa’s, just off Rt 6 in Westville. It is a small, somewhat older diner. I had heard about their chicken. The seasoning they use (a well kept secret) is delicious! It is also pressure fried. I haven’t tried any other dishes yet, but the pork tenderloin and eggs (at a nearby table) really looked tasty! I will definitely be back. I hear they have a great Friday fish fry.

It was my husband’s birthday, and he wanted a fish fry. We found Pa’s Chicken Coupe. We are SO happy that we did. We ordered the all you can eat lake perch. All fish is only available on Fridays. The perch was extremely flavorful. The breading was light and seasoned well. Our server was attentive and kind. Though a sign on the door asked for the patrons patience as they were short handed, you would never have known that. We were waited on right away and served very quickly. It was obvious that the fish was prepared when ordered. It had not been sitting under a warmer. Our server checked on us to see if we wanted more (that rarely happens in an ayce meal). We indicated yes, and a new fresh batch was made to order for us. The whole experience was wonderful. We took an order of chicken home to our daughter, and it was very tasty as well. It had a bit of a peppery flavor that wasn’t overly spicy. Pa’s has a moderately sized menu and does catering. The prices are well worth it for the quality of the food. We talked with the owner as we were closing out our check. He was very kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning to Pa’s. Thank you for a wonderful meal.

I had chicken and waffles, my husband had the chicken sh$t platter. Both were awesome. Chicken was crunchy and juicy. Can’t wait to go back and try more. Also bought a homemade pie to take to family. It was great. We will definitely be back again.

Finally made it to Pa’s to try the chicken! It was mid morning so my son and I had breakfast. Fantastic biscuits, comes with hash browns and great portion size. The owner gave us each a chicken sample when I let him know I need 12 pieces to go for dinner tonight. Loved it. We will definitely be back soon.

Honestly, I wasn’t too sure about dining in at this place from the outside. When we went in the parking lot was clean and the restaurant was cozy warm. Pa and his sister were super nice and even gave us a sample of the fried chicken before we ordered. I notice they had alot of carry out going on for the locals. We took a 12 piece of fried chicken home to warm up the next day. It heated back up easy and just as crunchy in my air fryer. Pa was kind enough to serve hubby the Friday Walleye dinner special on Thursday. I had the 3 piece chicken dinner with potatoes and gravy. The meals are larger servings and we even had left overs to enjoy later that day once we got home from this road trip.
