I recently discovered that I love Venezuelan food. I’ve been here a while ago, and someone I know recommends this place. I got the chicken empanada, shredded beef empanada, and a cachapa.

Everything was excellent and well portioned. One of the more satisfying take out experiences I’ve had. Ordered: Shrimp Arepa, Nachos, Chimichanga, side of sweet plantains

I’ve been going here for a while, and they’re definitely one of the best Mexican places in Pittsburgh. The ocean enchiladas (I think that’s what they’re called) are supremely exccelent, sublime even. Absolutely incredible. A medly of perfectly designed flavors. They also give you a lot of food. Like a lot a lot. I almost always have leftovers. And the atmosphere is stellar. Very nice seating, good bathrooms, I like the music, everything feels very chill. Excellent churros too. Allthough I’ll be honest, sometimes their dishes are quite soggy. I’m alright with that I like soggy, but I can see how some would dislike this. Overall though, 10/10 would go again.

Best Venezuelan food around without a doubt. Please try the cachapa. It’s this seared corn with corn meal and pulled meat. Drizzle it with honey and a piece of butter. Absolutely incredible. Has good Mexican food too. Please try the golden fried tacos.

Very good authentic flavors. A magnitude better than Chippole, if you are looking for takeout.
