I picked this place blindly online, just needed a middle point to meet with my friend coming from Tacoma and me from Seattle. The food is delicious. We both tried the Classic BBQ chicken, the portions were XL and the green salad had this guava ranchy kind of dressing. They even affixed an orchid bloom to my to go brownie with whipped cream. Had to skip the vanilla ice cream on inordinately hot day. One of the Sisters was our server. She made us feel like members of the family. The indoor decor is retro 80’s Hawaiian which I loved! Interested in going back and trying out more Hawaiian dishes.

We arrived at 6:15pm on a Tuesday evening. They only had one server working the entire dining room section, she was also busing tables, handing out menus, and cashing out customers. It took 19 minutes until she showed up at our table to take our order (she gave us menus after we sat ourselves).

Umm this place is so fun! We went in for a quick dinner and fell in love. It’s so cute inside and there is a lot to look at. The Hawaiian iced tea is so so yummy. We tried the Pu Pu Platter, I think we were missing the prawns but didn’t realize until later. We also got the Kalua Pork Sliders and the Katsu burger. Everything was good but the BBQ Huli Chicken was absolutely the best. Definitely try out this place soon!

Chicken katsu is the best I’ve had, it was super moist and tender and had the perfect crunch because of panko – I recommend this if you come in. Smoked pork kalua pork was good. Lumpia was delicious. Pork lau lau was nice but was a tad bit dry for my liking. And the pork kalbi was fantastic.

This place is usually very busy so we were glad we were able to get in. The service is quick & friendly. The food is good & decently priced as well. There are plenty of choice & you can even make your own combo which I did because it was too hard to choose from. There is not a lot of vegetarian options tho fyi for those non meat eaters.
