I’ve read other reviews that complained about the service but if you come during happy hour on a Tuesday you might have the place to yourself. That said, this review is strictly about the food as we didn’t experience any issues with service on our visit. Side note – if you sit outside you’ll get to experience the sound of two competing outdoor speaker systems playing different music simultaneously. Anyway, onto the food.

Stopped in on a whim, and everything was excellent. Bob, our server was friendly and funny and attentive and the food will definitely bring us back. We ordered the bibimbap, the encinita fish tacos and the fish and chips. All the sauces tasted house made and everything was packed full of flavorful. Picture is of the bibimbap.

I’ve enjoyed several visits to Pacific Eating House. I’ve tried a variety of items but my favorites are the Street Bao Buns and the Bibimbap – the flavors and textures of those dishes are unique and deliciously delightful. They also have fun and festive cocktails. The environment is upscale casual and laid back and the service is above and beyond. Give it a try!

The staff and atmosphere and food presentation was wonderful. The food itself was just fair, the steak was not very tender. Flavor was awesome a little bit on my dish, but the spicy noods were excellent. The staff was very friendly and the food came out quick. We may have had just an off at night. Or ordered the wrong dish because most of the food looked really good.

I was so excited to try Pacific Eating House but I think it’s heavily overhyped with mediocre food. I’m not basing this review off the service but it wasn’t great. We arrived minutes before opening so when we were sat no one was in the restaurant besides us. 20 minutes to place a drink order and another 20 to place our food order. Make sure you have a leisurely day planned to eat on their schedule.

This was the first time my husband and I have been here. I had the special- hangar steak and shrimp and my husband had bibimbap. Both our meals were not only beautiful to look at but tasted amazing. Will definitely be back. Oh- I shouldn’t forget that the service was awesome. Very attentive but not overly so.

The only reason I wouldn’t give five stars is because a table arrived after us was greeted by our server, and taken full care of before we even placed our appetizer order. Aside from that this place is five star food five star everything. I did not grab a picture of our entrées. My wife had the Wailea stew, and I had the halibut. Both fantastic.
