Never been here before and can say I wo t be returning. First the girl at the counter didnt answer my question about what a flavor burst was and said it’s the icecream so I assumed my icecream would be fully strawberry, not swirled. Then her and another worker argued in front if us over who would make the icecream because neither of them wanted to. They were both rude and impatient and there was no gloves when handling the icecream or cones. As well as we had other flavors mixed with ours because they didnt clean the machine between flavors.

Was very pleasantly surprised….defiantly Not a bad burger. We are always in search of a good cheeseburger. I had passed this place for years, but not anymore. I usually drive to Neaders in Marietta for the best burger in the area, but the tasty freeze is only 5 minutes away. Just normal, friendly people and a darn good burger. Defiantly worth stopping in and giving them a try.

It was just so so. Nothing stands out to me. Its the same things ice cream I mean that you can get at most ice cream shops or even at a 7 eleven you CAN buy the slurpees there too. I have not tried any of the other foods. Pizza subs fries other items in not sure about. They do come outside to take your orders. However your welcome to sit at one of the outdoor tables. This place is slightly more expensive than other similar places. So it depends on how important it is to support individually owned and operated shops. Which I do support. Its why I choose to go there and return again for something other than approximately $4.00 for their medium sized slurpee. But its same cost for ice creams. You can pick your own creations.

WV Almost Heaven (Montani Semper Liberi)
Tasty Freez of Paden City has the BEST homemade/handmade cheeseburgers in Tyler County, WV. Although we aren’t sure, but they may also have the #1 BEST cheeseburger anywhere along the entire length of the mighty Ohio River and/or all of the Ohio River Valley. Not a single burger franchise can even comes close to how great their cheeseburgers are! We would be remiss if we did not also mention their soft serve ice cream creations. You must stop in and try this all made from scratch homemade cuisine. Now if we could get them to serve Vernors Ginger Ale it could be very nearly nirvana!

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star,,, no chocolate ice cream,,, all they have is swirl. Not very good,,, and the cones were so stale, like they been sitting out for a month,, and 3 small cones cost over $7.00. Not good at all. I recomend the dairy queen on down. The road in sistersville, , yea ill not stop here ever again.

Tasty Freez is a great restaurant right here in Paden City; they offer hot foods in addition to the expectedly great cold foods – I’d highly recommend a pepperoni roll alongside your next ice cream visit!
