This place was delicious! I love little food truck type places. They always have the best food, but one of the things that makes this cute little restaurant special is all of the picnic tables, and little games to keep the kiddos busy while you wait. It is a true gem of Monks corner! I would recommend it to anyone who likes seafood or even a burger . Prices are around $12-20 on average.

Very generous portions, large tasty shrimp, awesome banana pudding and best shrimp and grit cakes I’ve had in a long time! My husband had the whiting fish special with okra and it was very good, too. We greatly enjoyed dinner under the oaks and highly recommend! Will definitely be returning.

All of the Okra locations are wonderful. This one is a permanent food truck. The food is excellent. Always hot and delicious. Service quick and friendly. Nice picnic tables if you want to eat there. Clean and tidy. I wish I could eat here every day.

First time eating here, everything was great. Nice take on a carryout shrimp and grits. Nice size portion of grit cakes and huge tasty shrimp. I’m a gravy hog, so I probably could of used more of the yummy gravy for on top. Very friendly and quick service. Will definitely come back and try other menu items.

I visited from Denver. My daughter raved about a place to eat that she HAD to take me to. The outside was very cool- the grill- oh, the beautiful GRILL, definitely drew me in. The patio is beautiful, with all the plants and the layout, but the greeter, the seater and the server made me feel like I was a wealthy regular! Those not assigned to my table had no issues answering my questions about the restaurant while my server was getting our drinks. The dining area is beautiful and I admired the wall behind my table a lot. It did take me a long time to figure out how to dry my hands because I have never seen that type of blower before… it was ok, because a few of the other ladies were also confused, but we got it by working together, so I have some new friends now. A manager even came by to allow me to rave over that wonderful food and the great service! I needed a T-shirt so I could give it to my hubby. He loved it, but complained, “Wow…now I’m craving grits…” ( He is from the South)

Great service & there home cooking food is absolutely delicious. You get your $$ worth & there open 11-8 Tuesday- Saturday. Great place to sit outside bring your doggie & will for sure eat there a lot more .
