Stone Way opened on July 22, 1992. This delivery kitchen at the corner of Stone Way and 40th Avenue was historically our smallest location in physical size, but that all changed in September 2013. With a complete overhaul, the tiny delivery kitchen expanded to include a spacious new dining room, pizza-by-the-slice bar, and Freestyle Coke machine. The store also sells beer and wine, both in-store and for take-out or delivery!

An Actual Breadstick
They always make the best pizza. Every location of their’s I have been too, they never disappoint. That crust is perfect, the garlicy sauces, cheese, and whatever else you happen to order your pizza with, it all comes out perfect 100% of the time. At this particular store, or any of the others. I’ve seen Pagliacci all over Seattle but had never tried it despite living here for a few years. They offer both individual slices and whole pies. The individual slices are large and cheaper than buying an entire pie, but still feel expensive. I believe it was ~$5/slice vs $20 for an 8 piece pie. Perhaps I am spoiled by New York $1 slices, but the price alone felt disappointing. The flavor was OK, nothing special. Due to the convenience, I’d say it’s worth stopping in, but buy an entire pie.

Not the best Pagliacci location by any means. It’s street parking on a busy road unless you’re lucky to get one of their 3 spots. Their crust is consistently a lot chewier (acceptable usually, but not airy like other locations) and their staff is stingy. I had to beg them to give my toddler a free slice on their 2 free slice day despite us being regulars – and they begrudgingly offered for her only 1 plain cheese slice. Unfortunately, it’s the closest thing to NY pizza that’s super convenient to drive to, so they get our business. If you’re around Magnuson, their Sandpoint location is consistently all around much better!

I have never tried gluten free crust on a pizza before until I had a bite of Pagliacci’s pizza that was on a gluten free crust at a party. The next day I bought one for myself and ate the whole thing in one sitting. I don’t know what it is about it but I would go as far as to say I like it more than regular crust. The other ingredients only amplified the experience with their flawless distribution of toppings. I would gladly pay $25 for another 11 inch gluten free pizza.

Excellent pizza, friendly staff, definitely recommend. I had the Spicy Pepperoni and my wife had the veggie. Both were great. My sons had their pizzas with vegan cheese, field roast sausage, and pesto and they loved them. It’s tough to find a place that has good vegan options when it comes to pizza but Pagliacci delivered!

Couldn’t be happier with my choice to dine here. The pizza is great, crispy crust, friendly staff, and extremely clean! I was greeted as soon as I opened the door, and order very quickly after despite the line. Very fast service. I’m from out of town, so the price is a little high for my tastes. But to be far, i was expecting that. Other than that, it was a great experience. Definitely recommend. Great walking distances from Staybridge Suites!
