Consistent, clean, fast. I like going here when I want pizza but don’t want typical chain restaurant pizza. Pagliaccis is a chain, but the quality is closer to a regular pizza restaurant rather than a pizza hut, dominos, or papa johns.

The name Pagliacci has been a Seattle staple for many years. It’s been two decades since I had fond memories of eating at the old Queen Anne / Mercer location, so I decided to stop at this one for a quick bite while walking by. The concept is nice – quick service slices of your choosing, but it just wasn’t as good as my memories (is anything these days, really?)

Ordered online, arrived 2 minutes before my estimated completion time. The food was ready about 2 minutes late, but they communicated where each thing was in the process and offered pepper and cheese for my takeout pizza! I even asked last minute if the pizza could be double cut (cut into smaller pieces and more of them, making it easier to share) — no problem, them accommodated.

Went for their free slice night which was the first time after I swore off this location ages ago for their lackluster pizza. Was not disappointed tonight though! Had the Italiano slices and was actually very impressed! Will have to come back soon!
