This is a busy place and can get loud, so if you are looking for a quiet dinner you might want to eat really early or really late. Food is good, some items could use a little more finesse. The white fish spread is spot on. Definitely try it. The pizza is delicious. The goat cheese and beet ravioli needed some acid and the brown butter pistachios sauce was more of a pool of grease with some raw tasting pistachios. Shrimp and grits was also very greasy.

Overall great experience, food was priced a bit high but welcome to 2023 I think we’ll continue to see this trend as years progress! I had the Tuna Poke Bowl and the presentation and portion size was spot on! Chicken Caesar salad was pretty standard, chicken was delicious. My girl ate all the chicken and half the salad!

This place is a bit Tardis. Meaning on the outside the place looks tiny, then you enter and bam the place looks twice as big. The inside is a tale of two worlds a mash up of old fashioned and cabin modern.

We had such a wonderful experience! The host and wait staff were incredibly kind. Our waitress checked on us regularly and brought drinks out quickly. We had the lobster roll and the bacon cheese smash burger and they were both excellent. We were even pleasantly surprised by the kids food – it was clear their food was also freshly prepared and not some cheap frozen food that you often get off the kids menu in a restaurant.

I absolutely loved my Michigan Bison Meatloaf. The side dishes are spot on -green beans cooked perfectly. The pretzels and fries as an appetizer are a must have. Seriously. The fries are legit. The only thing is that I was torn between so many delicious sounding entrees that I’ll have to come back many more times to taste them all!

LOVE THIS PLACE! First time there I had the best (Brisket) burger I ever had. Second time I had a great pizza (Godfather). My wife had the beet and goat cheese ravioli. This is a great dive restaurant with a well stocked bar. The only knock is it’s a tad bit loud, but that is a sign of patrons. They do have a location in Grand Haven we wish to try. Only problem for us it is 35 minutes from our residence, but it is worth the drive.

One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. I’ve never had food served so fresh and HOT right from the kitchen. Everything we tried was phenomenal. Service was amazing and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Great for date night or dinner with the family. You won’t be disappointed.
