EXCELLENT!!!!! My wife and I went here two days in a row, and both times, the food was top-tier. PALAPAS is truly an authentic Mexican restaurant that brings the shoreline experience of the finest Sinaloan cuisine one can ever hope to have. The owner/manager was amiable and attentive. We attempted to visit two other restaurants, and neither of them measured up in service, cuisine, or atmosphere. I have found a piece of Sinaloa in the heart of Texas.

Yes!!! I definitely recommend this awesome place. Ive come here with my coworkers and family. Everyone loves it. Mojarras and charro beans are the best. The cocktail is just on point, not just tomato sauce. The staff and owner gave us a 5 star service. They have live music on Saturdays. The atmosphere is a yes for me! People, be patience with the wait, do you prefer your meal to be done well or do you want your meal just whatever because you can’t wait 10 mints more. Rate the food and the people not the wait. Good things take time!!

I genuinely have zero clue how there are any 1 stars for this establishment. Food, service, and environment/atmosphere have been on point every time I’ve been here for the past couple years. I go once every 1-2 months give or take. Awesome staff and food 10/10.

Loved this place! Was worried with the reviews and had some hesitation because of other seafood resurtants that had similar cultures, but this was nothing like our expectations and absolutely blew us away with the taste and friendliness of the staff!! Would highly recommend to anyone who likes seafood and a good drink!

I so wanted this place to be good. Sadly my meal was served cold so flavor was muted. I believe if it had been hot or at least warm the flavor would have been amazing. Only one girl was serving so the wait was awful. We were not in a hurry so decided to wait it out. We watched several parties come in, sit, be ignored and leave. Never even got offered menus. So much money walking out the door. We sort of entertained ourselves betting on how long they would sit and wait before ultimately deciding to leave. Very negative experience, so won’t plan to come back sadly.

Excelent seafood restaurant!!! It’s a piece of Mexico in the United States hehe, place is clean and service is good. They put good Mexican music and sometimes they have people singing live. There are “Musts” to try: Campechana (All the cold bar in one plate and enough for 2 people) Michelada Especial and Tacos Gobernador

I get it they’re having staff issues we were patient while there. I was annoyed with a party of 2 that was there they saw how short staffed it was and kept calling the server over for little things like you couldn’t ask them for everything that you needed all at once. Over all the food was good I had to have mine modified since it was lacking ingredients(they were out) I always come back it’s always a different experience

Let’s highlight Taco Tuesday with a special guest today. The taco gobernador from @palapasseafoodbar. Take a look at the combination of shrimp and fish. The size of the taco is great! It comes with a spicy hot sauce that adds incredible flavor to the taco! A must try! Also, give their micheladas a try! They are very tasty. The interior is really nicelily decorated along with the exterior. They do have bandas usually every Sunday. Make sure to visit their social media page for the info. Overall, great place to get a different taste of Sinaloan Seafood.
