The food was really good and they were so friendly to I and my friends. If you’re visiting Austin for the first time this should be your go to spot for Nigerian dishes

First time eating Nigerian food. Nice people and the food was very flavorful. Spicy if you want it (I did!) Wasn’t the cheapest but worth it.

I have always wanted to try Nigerian food and finally tried at this restaurant. The food was great and I really enjoyed it. However, it would have been nice if some meat was ready (like goat). I wanted to really try goat egusi but the fish one was really good regardless! so tasty

Amazing food. I’m a fan of the ones soup. For someone new to Nigerian cuisine I appreciate having the chance to to try it and appreciate it. It’s a unique taste that everyone should try. My friend had the bitter leaf soup – also another great choice to try

Food is delicious, although some are so spicy it’s inedible. Maybe tone it down a bit to not African taste buds? Lol

This place is absolutely fantastic! First off, the customer service was excellent! Since this was my first time here, the owner, Olu sat down with me to personaly go over the menu to help me choose a dish right for me. All I had to mention is that I like Goat and Tripe. The dish we chose for me was Egusi Soup with Goat and a side of Fufu which was amazing!! I highly recommend Palatable Nigerian Cuisine and I’ll definitely be back with my friends

Had the jollof rice with beef and egusi with beef. Didn’t enjoy the food. Decided to try Nigerian food because it’s one of the types of food I haven’t had before. Egusi tasted like it was made in bad water, the cuts of beef for both dishes were super bland and chewy. I won’t return to this place. It’s given me a bad first taste for Nigerian food. I’ll try somewhere else at some point.

Amazing service. The owner was very kind and rendered professional customer service. Our food came out promptly and he even offered us bottles of water for the road as we had our kids with us. The quantity of the food was also a lot. We could barely finished it and he gave us a box to take the leftover. I will be back whenever we are in town.
