We went to the feast. Food was plentiful and very good. My favorites were probably the apps, the Tuscan soup, skirt steak salad. The desserts were fantastic! Definitely would recommend the feast next time it is offered.

Thought we’d try a new restaurant in Gladwin. Pale Blue at the Stone House. A beautiful restored Victorian House converted into a restaurant. Beautiful place. Alot of seating inside and outside. Ramp wheelchair accessible. Not the same menu as online. We had a great waitress who was very patient with us. The appetizers and sandwiches were delicious. Recommend the loaded fries. We ordered Turkey club, BLT, burgers and Pork Tacos. Smokers out back.

Lovely venue, great service from Magena, and the food was excellent. (I’ve included pictures of the fried potato appetizer and pulled pork sandwich.) All three people in our party really liked it. The weather was so nice we sat on the porch, but I’d love to go back just to sit inside and enjoy the gorgeous building.

Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money. We went here for our anniversary we really wanted to like it. I had a Cuban sandwich, hubby had a bbq sandwich with hardly no sauce at all. Ham on the cuban was way to thick for a sandwich and way to many pickles The “chips” they served with our sandwiches were nasty nacho corn chips, with no cheese or salsa. ♀️ Regular potato chips would be more appropriate. Sadly we were not impressed. Then we were both up all night with horrible indigestion nope won’t go back. The stone house looks so charming you would think the ambience would also be charming but our table was dirty, even after she came to wash it off left food particles from previous patrons. She was friendly and took our order right away. She seated another family and they were served their drinks and order was taken and we still didn’t get our drinks. Hubby had to go ask for our drinks. She did remove the price of those off our bill. The best thing about it was the beautiful slab wood table.

If you are ever in Gladwin, Michigan, and you want some great BBQ, you need to stop at The Pale Blue Smoking Company. From the chopped brisket hoagie, and brisket mac and cheese to their smoked baby back ribs, you won’t be able to stop! I also recommend the kickin’ shrimp taco! Actually, just order it all, you will not be disappointed. Their BBQ sauce is also homemade, and tastes great! 5 stars, and double thumbs up to the fine folks and staff at Pale Blue Smoking Company!! Will definitely be back again!
