Portions are huge and food is very delicious. I ordered the Kalua pork plate (regular size). It came with 2 scoops of rice, a scoop of Mac salad, and meat for 2-3 people.

Had heard about this food truck from my daughter who had tried it. It came with glowing reviews so they had a big reputation to live up to.

Shoyu chicken special had a great sauce and plenty of it. Chicken fell right off the bone but a smidge dry (but great with all the sauce). Mac salad is basic but the food was ready quickly. Would totally go again.

A bit disappointing after the high rating. The meat was a little bland and the mac salad was not very flavorful.

Our first time. Heard about the food carts in Beaverton. Excited to hear about Hawaiian food, especially since I’m from Hawaii myself. I got kalua pork and loco mock. Wife got chicken katsu. It was spot on. The mac was done how we used to make back home learning the craft from our grandmother. Wasn’t expecting this to be big portions so have loco moco for dinner later. 5 stars, I’m coming back, not sure my wife she is haole. Go figure

Tried this place for the first time and it was FIRE! My bf and I have been to a lot of different local Hawaiian food spots but this has been far the best! We highly recommend the kalua pig and loco moco. The kalua pig had a great texture and it wasn’t too greasy like other places. The gravy on the loco moco was spot on and I loved the cooked onions. Shout out to the chef! 10/10 would recommend!

To preface this, I’m born and raised in Hawaii, and I’ve lived in the Portland area since 2016. This food was the BEST and MOST AUTHENTIC Hawaiian food I’ve had since I’ve been living here. I had the kalua pork, and my god did it bring me back. The flavor was spot on, it was the perfect amount of salty, and most importantly, it had cooked cabbage. The Mac salad was also amazing. This was my first time going, but I will definitely be back.

I was sceptical because the menu is small and simple and there are a couple of staples that are missing for Hawaiian street food. The owner assured me that the food is made from scratch and her husband has 27 years experience.
