The city of Palermo, Italy has been called the “ultimate food destination.” And Palermo’s Pizza brings that same, rich, culinary tradition to Blue Bell.
A local favorite since 1974, Palermo’s began by serving traditional and brick oven-style pizza plus a bountiful feast of other casual and fine-dining Italian favorites. In 1992, Palermo’s introduced a new twist – an expanded menu of Italian-American style, Mediterranean and Israeli favorites that represents the relationship of its proud owners. Maria Spatola Maman, originally from Sicily, and her husband Yoram, a former restaurateur from northern Israel, understand that a quality dining establishment requires a generous selection with the freshest ingredients and the warmest ambiance.

I was hungry. Wanted a slice to go. Never been here. Huge dining area. Lots of pizzas in window by cash register. I got a plain slice. The sauce was amazing. Very yummy cheesy too. The thing that impressed me most? A dollar bill fell from my wallet onto the floor out of my field of vision. One of the employees pointed it out to me. I left the dollar in the tip jar for him. Amazing. Who is that honest anymore? If they can be honest about that? Then I trust their food is to be trusted also. Hope the boss reads this. You have employees that really have integrity. Loved your pizza. I was on my way to a job interview and by the way, I got the job. Maybe it was because of your stellar pizza. But looks like I’ll be returning on occasion for a quick lunch break!

Stopped for lunch, garden salad, and a slice. It was fine. Usually, I get a pie for dinner from here. Fresh pizza is much better than my lunch was.

Ordered via slice. Food arrived late and cold. Pizza room temp/w cheese no longer melted. Fries and onion rings cold and soggy.

I don’t like to write negative reviews unless I’m highly dissatisfied. I ordered from here for the first time today. It was about 9pm, an hour before closing. I got a large pizza and order of fries and paid $28. The pizza was soggy, way too much sauce. The interior didn’t look that clean. The dining room floor was being swept as I paid for my food and it was sooo much food/trash being swept up. Behind the counter needed cleaning as well. It looked like 9pm was the first time they cleaned the place all day. Overpriced food that doesn’t taste good as well as an unclean restaurant. I hope you guys use the review to improve and do better but I will not be back. You never get a second chance to make a first impression.

I am not sure if all locations are owned by same owner but quality is definitely different across locations. We have used blue bell and Collegeville before but first time visiting Royersford. We normally get garden sandwich which is mushrooms, spinach and garlic. We asked for goat instead of mozzarella. Normally the sandwich is a BIG flavor. This sandwich was not at all. Mushrooms were barely cooked. Also what they put on top was not even close to goat and was flavorless. The first sandwich came out with chicken on it. They did replace. Will not be going back here.

Absolutely awful.! There was hair in my French fries, my cheesesteak was one, falling apart, two, undercooked and three, dry as hell. I’ve tried many different items from this restaurant and most have been okay. But this is disgusting and unacceptable. Reading others reviews. You have a serious cleanliness problem and it’s disgusting. Don’t expect my business again

Very expensive with not getting much for your money. Ordered margarita flatbread, was 70% crust, 30% toppings. Add on item was onion, extra charge , very little put on. Side salad, add on was mozzarella cheese, a pinch was put on, paid extra, total rip job.

Drive the extra few minutes to find another pizza shop in the area. These guys lack any level of customer service and seemed annoyed that I was there picking up a pizza… despite that being the point. I was hung up on earlier when ordering the pizza, too, so it was 50/50 on whether or not the order would even be there to pick up.
