Vibrant restaurant with great energy. We went for dessert and loved it! So many delicious looking options on the menu, it was hard to make up our minds. They have smoothies, fruit, unique ice cream flavors, cakes, and pies. Oh, they also serve great looking meals, we’ll have to go back another time for more.

La Monarca website says, “we have some of the yummiestrecipesfor tacos.” I totally agree. You must try the pastor street tacos. They are delicious and full of flavor. They will let you sample the fruit juices they make. I love all the flavors of ice cream they serve, but the churro cheesecake is my favorite dessert. All the ladies are friendly and offer great suggestions. I literally ordered carry out three nights in a row. It’s always fresh and ready in about 20 minutes.

Stopped here to eat and support local businesses. Ordered Chicken Empanadas and a Steak Burrito. Arrived to pick up my food and two employees were eating in front of the counter. They didn’t move much as I tried to approach the counter and never acknowledged me. The gal behind the counter took my payment and gave me my food.

I was going to order through Door Dash, but I decided to drive to the location and dine-in. I’m glad that I did. I love the look and feel of the restaurant, plus the staff were very nice. I ordered 2 crunchy tacos. My boyfriend ordered the La Monarca Burger(Angus beef patty layered with grilled onions, bacon, ham, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, avocado and mayo). I’m not a big burger fan, but I took a bite of his burger and it was delicious ❤️

My kids and I love this place. We’ve explored several menu items, and my kids have settled on the quesabirria as their favorite. Super cheesy quesadilla and a cup of broth for dipping — with just the right spicy kick. The torta Cubana sandwich is amazing, loaded with meat and other toppings, enough for two meals for me. But I can’t stop thinking about the Fruta Hawaiiana. It’s a cup full of chunks of pineapple, banana, strawberries, mango, and apple, in a creamy delishousness topped with granola. It’s a light meal. I tell myself it’s healthy. I think about it when I’m not there. I may need to go get it right now.

WOW!! What a great place to get some DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD AND SNACKS. This establishment is so clean, you can tell the staff and owners take great pride and joy in the food they make as well as customer service. I would recommend anyone who wants some great tasting food or Ice cream to check this spot out. It is definitely superior to “Taco Rico” or anything in the northland. You will be impressed and not disappointed as they have a vast menu including breakfast items drinks and more. La Monarca actually knows what they are doing behind the kitchen. Every time I come the food is consistent and made with love and care just like my abuelita (grandma) would make.

Excellent Crunchy Tacos! Smoothie was good too. Ice cream even better. Add street tacos to that and it just gets better with every new item I try. There is no reason not to visit this place. Everything was delicious and they have a huge menu. The rotating menu on the wall is a bit much, but they do have print. 7/22 update … still as good as ever.
