The place is great but the service is terrible. We sat down and a good local band was playing. There were 3 other tables and the one closest to the bar had more service than anything. Drinks are good but seriously needs better waitresses because they aren’t the slightest bit attentive. Pretty much the only time the waitress was around longer than 30 seconds was when the bill came.

This place was a welcome surprise. Seriously good food and original recipes. Was playing dope 80’s and 90’s ballads the whole time, they have karaoke and communal bar seats to have easy conversations. The staff was good and courteous. Will definitely be going back! Catch us at karaoke on Sundays!

Tried this bar out because power was out at my home and wanted a drink. Went in and sat down and waited for service. I knew weather was bad and that they was probably short handed; so I was patient. After sitting for 25min checking emails; finally an employee said someone would be taking my order shortly. After another 10min still no service a couple walks in and sits down. Shortly after sitting server walks past me to give them a menu. So I left; I’m a hard guy to over look big black guy with big beard. It was probably only 10 to 12 people in there so it wasn’t packed. I understand establishments won’t have perfect customer service all the time but, I think a nearly 40min wait to get a drink and app is unacceptable in a empty bar. I’m fairly new to area so I may give them another chance; if so I will update my review. My money will spend anywhere and there’s plenty of options in area.

My go to place when I get out and want to stay close to home. Teresa, Eric, Terry and all of the staff members take care of you. Excellent food and the drink options are way different than the usuals. Very unique drinks, something for everyone here.

After months of saying I am going to go to the Pallet Bar, I finally made it. It was Thursday and early evening so I had the place to myself. Enjoyed a Purple Sunset which was both beautiful and tasty. Followed that up with some chips and queso and a Mom’s Go To. The chips were probably Tostitos rounds, which I am not complaining about since they are just about my favorite chip. The queso and salsa were hand made and amazing. Possibly the best salsa I have had in Texas City. The Mom’s Go To is a drink to be aware of. Very tasty and strong. That 151 puts it over the edge. I look forward to returning and trying more of the food items (they even have Gluten Free pizza) and check out the live music scene.

NO SERVICE we went for lunch on Saturday no one greeted us and we chose our own table and had to get our menus after 20 minutes went to the bar and placed order , sat back down waited for food 30 + minutes this was the only time someone came to the table while one waitress talked to the next table for 20 minutes, no one ever spoke to us Thecworst service I ever experienced I will not be going back , they don’t deserve a star more like 10negative stars . This place SUCKS
