This place is fantastic! The staff and owner were very kind and accomodating. When I arrived at the restaurant, they had just closed their doors, but they opened back up just to serve me. The soup was amazing. Ask for the pepper sauce if you like spicey food, it added a delicious kick to my soup, straight faya! The sub was also deliciously made with high quality bread, delicious means, cheese, and veggies. Reasonably priced. Situated in a quiet Trenton neighborhood. The place also offers a small selection of grocery and candy items. I rate this place 10 out of 10. Thank you all for the great food and service. I will return!

I stumbled on this gem of a restaurant after an incredibly stressful afternoon and it changed my whole day around. The green rice soup was delicious and satisfying, even on this hot day. The owners were playing great tunes (Destiny’s Child!) and were friendly and kind.

LOVE this place! The food is delicious. Had the meatball sub and chicken wrap and definitely want to try everything else in the menu. The owners couldn’t be nicer. Sydney is such a positive and just lovely person. I have been meaning to go back ever since I went the first time and plan on making it a regular stop!

So glad to see another Black owned business in the area! We had the pastrami and honey turkey. Both were delicious and service was fast and friendly. The prices are more than reasonable. Another plus is they don’t serve any pork products so you can get the ham, salami or bologna with no worries. We’ll be back again for sure.
