I had a take out order for chojin, chow mein, deep fry fish. I wish chojin had more meat but everything was delicious and I was pretty happy with what I got

Wide selection of food and beverages. Staff speaks Spanish and english. Dine in or carry out. I usually stop by Wednesday’s to get their $2 tacos. Check em out!

Really good food. Took a long time to get it. My friend and I were the only ones in the restaurant. He had a chicken burrito, and I had a steak quesadilla. Hard to mess those up. Portions are generous and filling. Somewhat pricey…. but it’s really good eating.

We tried the pupusas, tamales, tacos, stuffed bananas, and rice milk. Everything was great. The stuffed bananas were a great dessert, and the staff was friendly. Another hidden eastside gem.

I lived in Guatemala for several years and I got to love Rellenitos, which are fried smashed plantains stuffed with fried black beans, topped with cream and cinnamon sugar.

If you see many 5 star reviews are from Americans, they don’t know how Guatemalan food taste. Pupusas was overcooked, my churrasco they gave me without chirmol (churrasco chapin always served with chirmol) not regular salsa. The longaniza nothing like used to be. It was more flavor to mexican chorizo than longaniza. Longaniza it’s not compared to chorizo. the flavor should be a lot different. The elbows salad tasted like expired. So my whole plate CHURRASCO was bad, the only ok was the steak. CHURRASCO was my favorite dish in here until today. Really bad. I ordered at least 10 times before, after today, no thanks. And that’s the only dish used to like it because I tried many other dishes and they’re not good. Guatelinda restaurant was a way better. But since there’s no other Guatemalan restaurant here, many people still coming. You need to learn more Guatemalan flavor. I give you 2 stars because the enchiladas was ok, used to be better also. Train your employees better.
