The food was great, however the service could have been a lot better. There was an over 5 minute wait while one of the servers went in the back for some reason, leaving our half-made food to go cold.

I have never been to a Pancheros before. Wow, what an experience. Lived up to the hype. I am not really a fan of chipotle, but I am definitely a fan of this. The handmade tortillas are so good. Burrito was delicious and service was great. I cannot wait to go back!

I love coming to pancheros anytime we visit the Midwest! When are y’all coming to Seattle?! They’re the ultimate build your own food experience, they do everything the other guys do but slightly better. The fresh tortillas really cinch it.

This would be a HUGE zero by me. I ordered a salad, with beans, pico and sour cream. This is what I got. 15 or more of us ordered from work, first they didn’t deliver it, then said oops we had 2 people with that first name. Then it was didnt you cancel it? Then finally then sent a mish mash of stuff, nothing labeled, can’t tell by looking whats what. Less than half portions, I dont need a lot of food but these bowls weren’t even half full! The 2 burritos. One had all the rice and beans, the other all the veggies, NOT the way they were ordered!. Needless to say we’ll not be ordering from here again!

Let me just start off by saying it was a breath of fresh air when dealing with Tyishia. She was professional, very personable & had a welcoming smile on her face. She informed me of the customer loyalty summary to earn a complimentary chips/queso. What a great way to top off this beautiful Good Friday She is a valuable piece to this location!!! God Bless!!!

Tuesday night, I have been coming here for years here and there and tonight was awful. Ordered a burrito and cheese quesadilla. Cheese quesadilla had no cheese on it… Burrito was filled so little with half of it being just rice…. One of the workers making the food had sunglasses on at 1:00 am…. Bad experience and even worse food. Come on the day shifts because the night shift workers have no idea what they’re doing. Not worth your money on a Tuesday night.

As a Minnesotan, I hate the Hawkeyes but at least this campus has a Pancheros. I almost prefer it over Chipotle due to the fact this restaurant makes their own tortillas and mixes the burritos for you. My food was so yummy in my tummy. I hope I can find a Pancheros outside of Iowa however because this state sucks

The food is an Iowa City staple. Good food for the price, good portion size.

I went to U if Iowa for 5 years in the early 2000s and my fondest culinary moments were always being able to have Pancheros!!! Whenever I come back to Iowa I always make it a point to eat at this particular Pancheros. Once in 2010, I came back and ate here each day plus a second time the last time for the road. Awesome food, awesome memories.

You can tell what kind of a manager a place has even when he/she is not there. Everyone who works here looks miserable every time I’ve come here. If food tastes better with love, than the opposite is certainly achievable as well if everyone hates their job. The employees have frowning faces and generally feel like they would prefer if you never walked in the door. When you ask for peppers four times because each time you ask for more you get about two thrown on irritates me because who wants a huge burrito with three pieces of fajita peppers?
