Original delivery was a 1 star. Cold food, tried calling the store for an hour beforehand as we had pre-ordered, needed some changes to the original order, but never picked up. Traveled to the store after the delivery, they made it right and were very nice in person.

Each visit here something goes wrong. Today there was no RICE! Now why wouldn’t there be rice. They were scraping the bottom of the chicken & carnitas bowl just to make our order. Everything was cold, nothing even warm. No discount or compensation offered. We will not be visiting this location ever again.

I’ve given this location too many second chances. Foods always cold, old, dry, workers are slow and mess up online orders 100% of the time. The thing that sucks the most is I don’t know this until we get home. Their app should have a “was your food edible” button so you can click it and get a refund. Done, absolutely done with this location!

The “Manager” William was very unprofessional. Talking down to me, my children and no customer service skills in person, or on the phone. Sounded if he was unhappy to be there. There’s no communication between the employees. He accused us of not informing him of the right meat on our burrito saying we have more stuff on it. He interrupted us multiple times while we were trying to communicate with him. This Pancheros was good when it was new, but has gone drastically downhill ever since. I would recommend the extra 15 minute drive over to the West Des Moines Pancheros, where they have stuff figured out and serve the customer.

This is the worst Pancheros I have ever been to. They don’t give you full scoops the food was dry and the customer service was awful. Then I went to eat it and it was cold, dry and had no flavor. Don’t recommend ever going to this location. It’s definitely worth driving a extra 20 min to the next one or if you want some real food just go to Chipotle. This place BLOWS!

Please please please send the owner of this location to go to WDM and get a burrito. Eat it and then compare it!!!! If you do not see a difference then there’s something really wrong!!!!! Ingredients were not mixed, there was a bunch of rice, we had to take some out to be able to eat it, the steak was salty, definitely worth driving 30 minutes to get it in WDM than here. The flavor isn’t there!!! Take one of the cooks from the other one and ask them to show you how to make a real burrito at Pancheros. Disappointed.

First and last time going to Waukee location. Broke through the first tortilla because of all the excess juice from beans and meat. Then overlapped it with another tortilla. I then asked how I was suppose to eat the big blob and wasn’t even in burrito form. She replied “Goodluck” and no I’m not joking. This lady did this with her manager by her side and then proceeded to put it in a bowl. Do better.
