Enjoyed a late lunch and my Pollo Asada Quesadilla was massive. Dipped in Pancho’s green mild salsa. Appreciated every greasy bite.

I had the Cali surf and turf burrito and added cheese, bacon and guacamole. It was so good. Never had a disappointing meal here yet.

I grew up eating here, and it’s always been good. Their patio is now enclosed so there is plenty of seating. Prices have gone up quite a bit since my visit last December. I hope they don’t price themselves out of being such a popular place. I did notice it was a lot less busy than usual. $12.50 for a burrito was surprising. I used to go there all the time, but wouldn’t be able to at the current prices. Salsa and chips are great.

Ordered the Carne Asada Chips and i must say, it was delicious! A little pricy but they load it up, not like other spots where they give you mostly chips… it could most def feed 2 people, but my fat @$$ ate the whole thing btw the very hot and extra hot salsa were bomb… not even spicy well for me at least. My bad for typing a noval

Great place for breakfast or lunch. I had the Big Breakfast Burrito. Some of the best flour tortillas I’ve ever tasted. Good selection of Mexican drinks as well. Definitely recommend if you’re in El Cajon.

It’s really hard to get good Mexican food these days and prices are high everywhere. I ordered a beef taco and enchilada combo plate for take out. They put the beef taco right in the enchilada sauce… It was soggy from sitting in the sauce. In spite of the fact this was poor presentation, I decided to try it. Was not impressed. Beans were mediocre at best. I’m hesitant to return, however I have enjoyed their burritos in the past.

The Steak Asada comes chopped for some reason. Maybe they have it the same as they put in tacos. Not particularly well seasoned. They charge for pickled carrots.

Sorry, but this place was awful! My husband, son and I all agreed our dinners were terrible: 1) greasy, over fried fish in the fish tacos 2) the shrimp burrito consisted of oddly flavored rice with over – boiled shrimp and that was it: no salsa crema, no guac, no flavor. We ate half of our food and threw the rest away.
