We came here for Margarita Thursday’s. The margaritas were pretty weak, but also kinda tasty. The food was good. My wife got the shrimp enchiladas, which were terrific. I got the barbacoa burrito, and it was good, but the sauce on top was not good. It tasted like the grocery store Mexican Flavoring one can get, so it tasted cheap. The staff was super friendly, but they forgot, first, our orders, then my drink order. They were super helpful, however, to try to apologize.

Went to lunch there. Only 5 tables had people. Waited 15 minutes before anyone asked if we needed a table. Waitress led us to the table and tossed down the menus without saying anything. Walked off.. came back 10 minutes later for our drink order. We told her we were ready to order. She only would talk our drink order. We both ask for Water. After waiting another 10 minutes for our drink order .. we got up and walked out.

This restaurant is underrated. My parents came from out of town for a visit. I wanted to take them some place with high quality, affordable food that wasn’t a chain restaurant. We were not disappointed. I enjoyed the Pesto shrimp fettuccine, my husband had the fajita salad ( He had already started eating it before I got a picture. ), and my parents shared sizzling fajitas. Very very good. Please support local restaurants. The food was very satisfying. I loved the peach lemonade as well.

We went to Panchos tonight & it was AMAZING. It exceeded our expectations that were already high. The birria is excellent & some of the best Mexican food we’ve had in the valley. We almost skipped out on dessert & I’m glad we didn’t because the churros & ice cream were soooo good. The service was great & quick! Surprised there weren’t more people dining. We will be back soon!

Food was great. Service was a little slow. There’s a new menu for Roberto’s. Authentic Mexican food. I’m sure they will need to adjust the portion or pricing. Because it was a lot of seafood! I had the Tostada Especial. I couldn’t eat it all.

It was ok. I got the steak quesadilla and it was very delicious, but the beans were crunchy and tasted old. We had to ask for them to bring us chips and salsa while we waited because I guess it wasn’t included. The staff was nice, but the building lacked any kind of ambiance or decorations or anything. Probably won’t be coming back.

I would normally prefer to approach my culinary criticisms with a fair balance, but I’m afraid that, after my recent experience at Ponchos, this will prove a considerable challenge. It’s not a light task to convey the sheer magnitude of disappointment and disillusionment that washed over me as I waded through what could be the most egregiously dismal dining experience of my lifetime.

The servers were attentive despite their a bit of a delay with the food. They brought over a contemplentary snack. I had veggie Pasta. The noodles were firm, but soft. The sauce was delicious and a generous helping of veggies. The bread was soft and firm, fresh. Overall a recommended meal.

A friend and I went for lunch. We have a favorite Mexican place, but I wanted to try a new one. Neither of us eats a lot, so we got a plate with 2 of several things to share. Our server told us it wouldn’t be enough. He turned out to be both correct and incorrect! I didn’t think about the meat until it arrived. They have several types, and for some reason I thought we could choose. But he didn’t ask, and I didn’t think about it. It was beef. It’s really weird, but I have an intolerance to beef, so can’t eat a lot. It was good though, and I risked having a bit more than I normally would. But I didn’t eat my full half, so I was still hungry. We ordered some chips and salsa too. I was a little sad they don’t come automatically, like at many places, but that’s OK. However, I didn’t really care much for the salsa. It just wasn’t my favorite. My kids (6yo) ended up loving the leftover though! I felt the prices were OK, but a bit higher than I’d like. Service was not bad. We stood for a couple of minutes before being greeted, then our server came to seat us, but that was the only real hiccup. Not a big deal. Honestly, I don’t think I’m too likely to go back, though would if someone else wanted to. Because of where it is, parking is a pain, in addition to a higher price and food that we enjoyed a little less.
