We had the worst experience here. They acted like they had no idea what an online-order is. Didn’t have any of the items ready and were out of some. Charged my husband for the wrong order, wouldn’t refund him, literally said “you have to take this food now” AND didn’t even give him a receipt for that one. Pic shown is the Beef in a kids sized Beef & Broccoli. Cashier was rude and clearly didn’t have training.

Love the food always. But first time trying the drive through… took 20 minutes. Way too long.

I planned on going in and eating because I don’t eat while driving, but only the drive-thru was open. My granddaughter wanted Panda Express because she loves the beef broccoli bowl with rice she gets in Saginaw. I didn’t get anything because I was driving and had a ways to go to get home. My granddaughter said it wasn’t as good as the one in Saginaw and only took a few bites, the rest got thrown away.

Got ignored in favor of the drive thru customers. Multiple staff saying “someone will be right with you” … every someone did something else or filled another drive thru order. So… we left.

The only thing that was decent was the food. They looked at us like we were stupid for asking them for a 3rd time for a bag since our order was to go. We also requested drinks that never got rang up, jut got us blank looks..

Terrible. I went there around noon on a Saturday when by all accounts it should have been open. All the doors to the building were locked though and the many employees inside the building just ignored multiple customers trying to get in. There was no signage anywhere saying that the dining room was closed. I and other customers couldn’t easily find a phone number for this specific location to call so we just left. Maybe the drive-thru was open but I don’t like drive-thrus to begin with and there was a bunch of trashed food sitting right on the ground in the way so I wasn’t going to drive my car right over that. Go to a real Chinese restaurant like First Wok instead.

Why they always out of 99% out the menu? Your employees are losing you a lot of money!

I’ve often heard people say negative things about Panda Express, and was always confused because I’d never had a bad experience. (My previous experiences were in the DFW metroplex.) I’ve been to the 28th Street location twice. On the 1st occasion I wanted noodles as my side, and 2 entrees. I was given 1 entree and the noodles. They counted the noodles as an entree and my side. There was absolutely no sauce whatsoever in my container. The noodles were SO dry that I almost didn’t try then. In spite of them being dry, they were flavorful and edible. They would’ve been great if they’d actually had sauce on them!! I was taking back about a month later, and not only did we have to wait in the drive thru for 15 minutes, with only 1 car in front of us, but when we went to place our order we had to wait another 10 minutes for them to allow us to place it. (I’m guessing that they were severally understaffed.) Sadly, after waiting all of that time the food was beyond awful!! It was the WORST chinese food I’ve had my entire life!! My orange chicken didn’t have any sauce on it, again, and it was full of small pieces which turned out to be only fried batter. My Kung Pao chicken was not only lacking sauce, it was the worst I’ve ever had!!! The chicken pieces were small and looked normal but when I put it in my mouth, it had the texture of chicken fat. Every. Single. Piece. On top of which there was only 1 piece of zucchini, and the dish was FULL of huge chunks of bell peppers, which I detest. My fried rice was literally white rice with several peas and carrots in it. It was very dry, too. We were not given extra sauce as requested. We were also not given any packets of any sauce whatsoever. I’ve come to the conclusion that in the past when I got Panda Express, I was given exceptional food and service. All of the complaints I’d heard about it from friends was because their experiences were like my 2 visits to the 28th Street location. Orange chicken and Kung Pao chicken are always at the top of my list whenever I’m asked what I’m in the mood to eat. Always!!! I’m truly saddened by both of my experiences!! So much so, that I don’t foresee me EVER eating Panda Express again, in any state!!! For years it was my go to place for takeout, and I always had great experiences. Now that I’ve experienced what everyone has complained about, it’s been knocked off of my list altogether.

I don’t know if my memories failed me or this location is doing something wrong, because I used to enjoy eating at this chain in another city. This location though, the food is always super dry. It’s like the orange chicken has a candy coating on it instead of a sauce. The fried rice is dry and bland, it’s like they somehow removed flavors when cooking it.

Fried rice was not fried. The place was dirty. Found a very small clean table. Will probably never go to a panda express again. This was my first time and last time. First impressions matter
