Today, 5/3/2022, at about 730pm, my wife ordered two food plates from Panda Express in Edinburg, University Drive. It was the orange chicken and The other was a beef vegetable plate. This is the second time we order from this place and both experiences have been less than favorable. The beef was breaded in the outside but it was a very unusually dark color almost purple. The taste was of the beef was bad, very dry on the inside and fibrous. The chicken was slimy and had a distinct unpleasant odor to it. The “fried” rice was far from fried, it looked just steamed and like they just added a drop of sesame oil and veggies, it was TASTELESS. Not to mention the noodles, they were just as bad. Even the egg roll had no pleasant taste to it. Disappointing experience. I hope the manager reads this review and corrects what used to be an otherwise tasty fast food choice. Not for now though.

I’m not gonna lie, this place is mid compared to the one in Weslaco. I went recently and the amount of orange chicken given to me felt tiny. I might’ve just been hungry and expected more but I’m almost 100% sure I’ve gotten more than this.

Food is great, but is constantly letting items run out about an hour prior to closing. It’s as if their closing time is earlier than advertised, but can only image it’s on the workers and management, making the decisions that lead to customers not being able to purchase the only items that they visit this restaurant for. For example, today I went for my super greens, arriving an hour before closing time, and the person working the drive thru said they had run out and wouldn’t be making more greens. In the past the wait on greens is usually 10 mins. I can only see this as employees starting clean up and being able to leave immediately at closing time.
