The food was disgusting. Very old food. I’ve worked at Panda Express in my younger years down in South Gate and we took pride in serving appealing, fresh food. But unfortunately things must’ve changed with this franchised because the food was not only unappealing but it was definitely old food. I asked for super greens and I get a head of cabbage.

Very friendly staff. They greet you upon entering the establishment. Food is always hit or miss. The shrimp was hot and fresh and tasted great. But the chow mein was not fresh. Orange chicken, got the coffee pieces and they didn’t have that vesty kick normally.

Apparently every time you go through the drive-thru they can ask you if you would like to donate to some questionable children’s charity, which they’ve been trying to get donations for this supposed charity for years, but they simply don’t have the time to ask you if you would like any sauces with your order, which they now only give out upon request. You would assume that when you order teriyaki chicken it should come with teriyaki sauce, otherwise it should just be on the menu as “chicken.”

I came 30 minutes before closing. They refuse to make more food and ask if I wanna know what they have left for the night. I’ve been to other pandas and they offer to make small portions if the customer is willing to wait and usually I say yes but when I asked the shift lead why can’t they make it and I’ll wait and she says because they can’t. I hope the store manager sees this.

Fast service and good portions. They offer military discounts. But you must show ID and ask for it. As with all fast food take out services, ensure everything in your order is complete prior to leaving the store. You can ask to sample items before making a selection. A lot of their entrees are chicken focused. But there are shrimp, and beef entrees as well. If you don’t see it, ask for it to be made. It may take longer.

I came in with high hopes from past experiances of other Panda’s. I give this warning to all see how much food is present in entree warmers prior to ordering. If you recieve the last of what is in the warmers and it is not an adequate serving (porportion wise), they stillexpect you to pay full price. Pay attention, stay alert and get full :(.
