Authentic Italian cuisine! Dishes were absolutely flavorful and delicious. The shrimp mozzarella is cooked to perfect. Calamari was seasoned just right and the mushrooms batter was outstanding! Just did order pick up due to covid. Inside looks beautiful and seems to have a nice romantic atmosphere!

Great small restaurant feel. Nice bar seats with TVs and good wine and food. Our bartender was very nice, and they serve food at the bar.

I had been trying to have a meal here several times, 3 times total, on different days during different times. It was rather frustrating because I would arrive during OPEN business hours and the place would be closed and no one would answer the phone. When I finally did get a chance to eat here the food tasted great but the portions were so small, especially at $17 per plate. If they can be open during the business hours they state they will be open for and bigger portions, I kid you not my portion was 1/3 cup of cheese tortellini pasta ;(

So I recently went here and let me tell you it was very nice. I sat witht the owner of that place a year ago one time while the place was empty and I was waiting for my pizza to be cooked. We hada great convo and got to know each other a bit. Fast forward to today, well as soon as I walked in to let the owner know about a reservation I had made, the expression on his face as well as how quickly he greeted me was flawless. That made me feel welcomed too and to top it off I chose to sit out side all alone on a corner table. It was an elegant view to be honest and the expierance was stupendous I say. Sat there all alone and enjoyed my food, even the waitress was extreamely nice.

My girlfriend and I frequent this establishment once in a blue moon, however after our experience last evening I believe we may enjoy this fine restaurant more often. I will concede that we had our sights on a barbecue joint up the street from Pane e Vino. However as we walked past this establishment and saw the lively ambiance we decided to change our venue of choice. I’m very glad we did. We started off with the shrimp fried mozzarella, lets just say there wasn’t a bite left to be had. Then as too our main dishes my girlfriend opted for a salmon dish which she thoroughly enjoyed and I went for my usual the piggy pizza. Delicious all around. We also enjoyed a few rounds of drinks from their fine selection. As to the prices, yes I dropped a little over a c note for our fine meal but you know what.. Good food costs money and I have no issue with that. This isn’t a poor man’s restaurant and if your the type that hates opening your bill fold a little wider than I’m sure there’s a olive garden somewhere down the road. 5 stars to Pane e Vino.

My second visit to a pleasant store front restaurant on main street Covina. Pane e Vino does Italian very well. From the Burrata and Prochutto appetizer to the Fennel Sausage pizza to the two pasta dishes our 3some shared, all were delicious. Our server Paul, allowed time between courses to make for a perfect night out. We will be back.
