The stuff was friendly, the food wasn’t great at all. We ordered mini cheese pizza, medium pepperoni and large Cajun shrimp. While cheese and pepperoni were ok the Cajun pizza had pretty much no flavor besides a tone of spice. Also a bit burned. The other thing was thin and overly crispy crust. We were not asked about what crust we wanted, so we assumed it was regular pizza crust. We’d never order the crispy one.

I’m so sad. This is our annual stop during our family trip from Lubbock. We were so excited to take our grandkids with us to show them the pizza parlor that their grandpa went to as a kid. We ordered a works and a large pepperoni, our grand babies favorite. When the pizza came out the bottom of our crust was hard as a rock and BLACK!!!! Half of each pizza was black on the bottom the other half was hard and dark dark brown. I ate what I could and my husband scraped off the toppings. Then I looked over at my grandson and saw that he had taken off all of the pepperoni! He said it tasted weird…he’s 12 and loves pizza. I felt so bad about our highly anticipated, awesome Panjos was awful!

I’ve never eaten here before tonight so I took a chance and I’m glad I did. This place is so cool! The atmosphere is awesome, like old-school pizza place vibes. The food was delicious. I got a small thin crust cheese pizza and I don’t think I’ve ever eaten a crispier crust. It’s like New Jersey bar pizza crispy. The staff were very polite and professional. I’m not a local but if I were this would be my new go-to pizza place. Skip the chains and go to Panjo’s!

It’s not a friendly place. The food was very good after waiting 1 1/2 hr to get it. We were treated in a different way with the staff and I guess the regular customers. I remember going there as a child and having the best time. My grandson just moved back to Corpus. I wanted him to try this pizza. But they way he was treated and looked at. No thank you Panjo’s.

I read the menu online and the “Chicago – style stuffed pizza with thick crust” was all I could think about. Having experienced this in Chicago at places like Gino’s and Uno’s, my expectations were high. Panjo’s came through with flying colors.

Omfg. This is the best pizza on the planet. I used to eat at the one in Houston 37 years ago and found this one on accident and it’s the exact same as I remember. So good!

1 of our favorite pizza/sandwich/burger joint.. the wings are not too bad but the flavor of them are unique. I just prefer my wings cooked a lil extra. We had to eat here before chuckE cheese.. haha. Plenty to do here in Corpus and Portland before school starts. Give Panjo’s try… the service is always friendly and welcoming.

Grew up in Corpus in the 70’s and haven’t been back since then until recently. I went to Panjos after little league baseball games and have many fond memories there. You can imagine my delight to go back and it lived up to all my expectations! Thanks for not changing a thing I’ll be back very soon the best pizza I’ve ever had no doubt about it! Also the 2 ladies working were very friendly and the pizza again was absolute perfection!

I moved to Corpus Christi from San Antonio in 1995….. I’d never heard of Panjo’s the whole time I’ve been here. Then, someone brought several Panjo’s pizzas (a variety of different ones) to the hospital where I work. Initially, I didn’t give a thought until I tasted my first slice (meat lovers), and then I asked “where is this from?” PANJO’S… well here we are, and this place is the great. The place is old, and that’s because they’ve lasted the test of time. The pizzas are on point! (I lived in Chicago, New York, Pennsylvania, ect. NE USA). THIS PIZZA , and the whole menu is Great!. My first visit, and I’m impressed beyond expectations!

Panjos is one of those excellent small restaurants that locals know about. Excellent salads with fresh vegetables and delicious pizzas. The ingredients are all top quality and the cheeses are delicious! Love this place. I know people who live two hours away who drive in to ear here.
