Older establishment. Good food. Good service. The restaurant charges 4% extra of the menu prices when their customers use a credit card to pay the bill. I do not like this hidden extra charge especially when it is not notice is not provided. It may have been on the menu but I will never know because I do not plan to be a back. When the server told me why there was a difference between the bill and the credit card slip. I just said thank you, not her fault.

When we visited Papa Baird’s it had been busier than they were expecting, so they were a bit short on staff. Everyone was very friendly and it seemed like everyone knew each other. We tried the breakfast pizza which was eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, gravy and cheese on a waffle. It was surprisingly tasty! We split the order so the photo is my half! We would return!

Really nice atmosphere, super friendly staff with great energy! Food was perfect portions and flavor. Sausage patties had a massive amount of flavor on their country eggs Benedict. Definitely coming back here!

Absolute train wreck. We should have known when one of our party ordered a bloody Mary and was given a cup of tomato juice and a can of Coors. You would think they would at LEAST tell ya they can’t make it. The only tasty part of the French toast was the fruit. The Monte Cristo was pretty much a ham and French toast sandwich.

I’ve been to Papa Bairds several times so this certainly wasn’t my first trip there. The food tastes very good. But they need to let the items cook. My waffles have always been soft and white. Its like they take them out halfway through cooking. My toast is the same. Soft and anemic looking. It’s always like that each time. I’m not going to stop going, but next time I’m going to ask them to toast it longer. And service was super slow this time around. Took a very long time to get our orders taken and then took a really long time to get our order. I like them and will continue going.

This is a diner that isn’t a dive. It’s just good. Everything I’ve had is cooked well and they always have a smile ready and waiting for you when you come in. It’s hot the heart of a small town.
