I’ve stopped by this service plaza so many times and every time, I’ve received average customer service. Today, I instantly recognized an excellent customer service from your employee, named James. My first job was in food service so I pay attention to service quality. James was professional and courteous even though the customer interaction has to be quick because of the nature of the job. He took time to politely answer questions from customers who were clearly not familiar with Papa Gino’s/D’Angelo, nor this particular service plaza. He didn’t just hand over the orders to customers, he actually called them by their first names and each customer left with a positive message: “Have great day, Bernice!” If I could give James 10 stars, I would. Someone clearly trained him well to give a great first impression within seconds of taking my order.

The best papa Gino’s around with the most outstanding and kind staff. My son has nonverbal autism and only likes papa Gino’s. This is his favorite location and it’s because of the people here. They are always excited to see my son as he is to see them and get his 2 slices of cheese!! They know his order by heart and always treat him like family. The GM Randy is the best, and his whole staff makes such yummy food!! I’d give 6 stars if I could! Outstanding customer service always!!

Great atmosphere and even greater pizza. I ordered the all meat with the “sweet reds” (red peppers) and it was delicious. The crust was thin and crispy Just how I wanted it.

Randy at the Pike makes the best pizza or super steak/ #9 ever. That being said, one thing that really stands out for me for Papa Gino’s/D’Angelo’s as a whole company is that they have complete, detailed nutrition information on their website. Right down to having the different roll types/sizes listed seperately from the sandwich fillings. I never understood the value of this until my child was diagnosed T1D and eating anyplace but home became a nightmare of trying to figure out carbohydrates. A lot of restaraunts don’t have this information readily available to their guests, so this is a welcome difference.
