Papa Joe’s was a nice surprise. Food was hot and fresh. Portions were of decent size. The fried pickles were pretty darn good(extra crispy). Pulled pork was tender and moist.. Only reason for the 4 stars is because of the drinks. All ice no drink.

Papa Joe’s has been a roadside staple here for years with excellent, freshly prepared food and great customer service. Their BBQ meats are delicious and served with ample side items. The outdoor patio is comfortable and spacious surrounded by lovely oak trees.

Very good food. Burgers seemed fresh, made to order. Onion rings were good, whole onions. The “Redneck Fries ” were delicious, Fries with cheese sauce, BBQ sauce on the side, and pulled pork. Nice outside dining area, covered with picnic tables and 4 chair tables. We’ll be back for sure.

Always great food, I especially loved their Christmas tree shakes they served during the holidays. Food is fresh, takes a bit of a wait for your meals but it’s a Mom and pop stop. But hey! They’re good at what they do. If you’re in town stop in they’ve got some good munchies to enjoy.

Good barbecue. The hamburger is very big and the big foot hamburger is massive I’m told, of course I’ve never seen it in person. Only in photos. The items are a la cart so keep that in mind. You get a lot for the price you pay, along with the quality. The pork sandwich is great, add in the bbq sauce and it’s fantastic. The fries are good, regular bag fries but you get a lot of them.

Drove from Ocala just to have lunch here. Fantastic food! The pork Tacos are wonderful (that’s what made us come back) redneck fries are pretty good as well. Very reasonably priced! If you’re looking for something different definitely give them a try, the scenery is beautiful along the way.

Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and got too much food. But everything was excellent like the pulled pork sandwich, shrimp tacos right down to the sides of corn nuggets and fried okra. Oh, and the onion rings rule…..I’m going back for ice cream after a nap.
