Decided to splurge even though it cost more than average at Papa Joe’s. Absolutely shocked at how bad it was. Some of the pizza didn’t even have cheese on it and they were barely any toppings at all mere crumbles of sausage a couple tiny pieces of pepper and slivers of mushroom and that was their idea of a deluxe. Embarrassed as I bought it for an out-of-town guest. Also ask for plates napkins and some cheese to go to eat it at the park and they didn’t even have cheese packets. Could have gotten pizza at half that price and 100 times better quality anywhere.

Incredible Pizza! I absolutely love their cabbage rolls baked beans cabbage and noodles and what they carry that you can take home and heat up and eat it’s the best! Their pies what can I say wow they are so good I tell everyone when you stop in Vermilion you have to get a pie from Papa Joe’s.

I go there to get a chocolate cream pie and a cherry pie to show my appreciation to RPM auto mechanics who keep my vehicle repaired and treat me very well. The young man, who takes the order, is very kind, also. Papa Joe’s is the best for all their food. +10 on my appreciation chart.

Whats not to love about Papa Joes??!! Pizza is great.. Their meals are great.. Salads are huge… Pies delicious. Even their take out items such as baked beans, potato salad, macaroni salad, pasta salad are a favorite of ours when we have cookouts..

This used to be my favorite place for pizza but the last three times I ordered they screwed up the order last time was so bad I ordered a med peperoni sausage onion and green pepper Got home had a med black and green olive this time my med pizza was 10 inches and they forgot the mushrooms never again the grease was terrible too. I gave them 3 chances but this place has turned to garbage its ashame used to be so good

I keep having bad experiences with this place and the only reason I give it another chance is because my husband and his family have been going there for years. It’s way too pricey for the ordinary food we get. The first time I ordered the hot ham and cheese. Its was so soggy it completely fell apart the first time I picked it up. Wasnt edible and tasted very plain. I tried eating the macaroni salad, it was very plain and just ok. The second time I ordered the roasted chicken. Extremely expensive and was bland. The last time I ordered was today. They had forgotten my salad, so I had to go back. The menu said tomatoes, onions, green peppers, bacon, cheese and cucumbers. It had only bacon and cheese, not exactly healthy. It cost way too much and they didnt offer me anything for having to leave my family at dinner to pick up the salad they forgot to pack. I hear you’re one of the best restaurants in Vermilion but so far I am not impressed and I’m done spending so much on your food when I can get the same flavor (if not better) from my local grocery store.
