Wonderful hidden gem in Boise near the Zoo. This place was excellent. The restaurant was empty and it doesn’t make sense because the server was great, prices were competitive, and the food was delicious. This will be the top of my list the next time I’m in town. ADA friendly.

The food is incredible. Still! I have such fond memories of coming here as a kid. And things are still just as good if not better than I remember. (I couldn’t have cocktails as a child ) chef Mike makes the best Italian sandwich (the papa Joe) that I’ve had outside of Chicago. And Patrick, was just the most personable host/bartender/waiter we have had serve us in any establishment in a long time. I can’t wait to come back and bring family and friends.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. That was the only good thing about our experience. $72 for pizza and it was absolutely disgusting. I would rather eat my kids school pizza. Super disappointing as this used to be a great establishment with delicious food.

Food Excellent. Service Excellent. The Alfredo sauce is probably some of the best I’ve ever had. It’s rich and heavy and so fattening. I know how to make Alfredo sauce and this place hits the nail on the head. The prices are fair and the owner is very nice and will do whatever he can to make your visit a great one.

I’m very disappointed of my dinner experience at this long time Boise establishment. Went there for dinner on a Wednesday night and the dining room was not busy yet I waited 45 minutes to receive my meal. If the delay was because of “to go” orders this was not explained to me, but in my opinion a customer sitting in a restaurant should be given priority. The wait staff was very friendly and apologetic for the kitchen delays which is why I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1. The food was tasty but not worth this ridiculous long wait. In hindsight I should have asked for a discount for the inconvenience or the staff should have offered one, maybe provided a free dessert, but none were offered.

Gave this place a try after reading a bunch of reviews. The server was friendly, the building was cool (although not what you picture for an Italian restaurant), but the food was disappointing. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t worth it in my opinion. There’s not bread before the meal like many other Italian places but does come with a couple small pieces. The Alfredo was thick and creamy, and a decent portion, but it lacked some flavor. My wife had spaghetti and felt that the sauce was over seasoned and not in a good way. Glad we tried it, but likely won’t be back; not for us.

Great local Italian restaurant. Good service and good food. We were a party of three, but didn’t have to wait at all for a table, nor for our order to arrive. The table was a bit short in length so two sitting together were a little bit crowded (not much elbow or plate [s] room. Portions were plentiful.
