I came to this location on Smallwood Drive in Waldorf, MD to pick up an order under grub hub. When I arrived, there were 4 guys working. They all were moving to slowly. They showed no sense of urgency. The guy at the register told me that the order will be ready in 30 minutes. The customer only wanted a cheese pizza. How long does that take?

Purchased three different Papadias on 18 Jun 23, and this location went 0 for 3 on quality. Two of them had an insulting amount of meat but they tried to compensate with an abundance of vegetables. The third was chewy where the other two had a noticeable crunch. Preparation of the food didn’t match what the app said and I mean not even close. Highly disappointed all the way around. Charles County deserves much better.

They hired my son for his first job so I’m giving them 5 stars. He has been doing a bunch of washing dishes, racks and containers that hold food from the walk in. He even told me about how much he scrubs the floor and base boards at times so I know everything is mighty clean in there.

My order took way too long. Over 60mins. I unfortunately didn’t read previous reviews and did not know They use a third party delivery service. If I knew that I would have Never ordered. The dasher left my food on the ground even after I said not to on the site. My food was cold, I watched the tracker app. My food sat for 45 mins before even being picked up. This was my first time in many years ordering Papa John’s and it will be my last.

This is my first time ordering from Papa John’s in Waldorf and it will be my last. I specifically drove by Domino’s on my way home because I prefer Papa John’s flavor. I get to Papa John’s and was told they don’t do carry out after a certain hour and I needed to place my order over the phone for delivery. Ok, so I call and place my order with a call center for this location. I say I would like to pay with cash and the operator says ok. A few minutes later I get a call from the store stating they can’t take cash for the delivery because they didn’t have any drivers from Papa John’s just Door Dash and if I could switch to a card payment instead and so I do. It appears to be getting later and later and still I have no pizza so I decided to call to get a ETA for the delivery and the gentleman working who was nice stated none of the delivery drivers for Door Dash claimed my order for delivery and it was sitting waiting to be delivered. At this time an 1 hour 30 mins had passed since I ordered and said I can just pick it become he had no idea as to when DD would deliver my food. I then wake up to three different charges on my card! I call to ask about it and also tell the manager Mike how the night before was less than ideal service. He tells he can take a few cents off the bill, a few cents! To compensate me…wow. I have reached out to Maurice to see if he will be more professional and he NEVER CALLED ME BACK. I say go to Papa John’s elsewhere maybe you’ll get better service. Otherwise you run the risk of paying 30 dollars or more for a cold pizza that has to be delivered to your house, but really picked up in person by you to eat …

We’ve ordered a few times from this Papa Johns and all experiences were nothing special. Order was accurate and food was delivered on time. This last time (May 30, 2021) was a very bad experience. We ordered delivery at 5:00PM. At 5:10PM the pizza was still not delivered. Since this was odd, I called the store and asked. I was told they did not have enough delivery drivers and they had to use Door Dash to complete deliveries. I TOTALLY understand not having enough drivers; however, we were not notified nor told of this situation and consequently, our order would be late. I was not offered any type of compensation or refund. At 5:15PM, I called and asked if my order had been picked up. The employee could not answer and said he had to ask his manager. I heard some yelling in the background and was told Door Dash was picking it up now. At 5:45PM, my order was FINALLY delivered. While the food was accurate, it was all cold. I try to post fair reviews all the time. I’ll state most of the time the Papa Johns on Smallwood in Waldorf, MD is okay. However, they totally messed up this time around. I would have been okay with this situation if I was notified and also compensated (i.e. coupon, etc.) for this delay, but it sounded like the manager didn’t care. This Papa Johns needs to get their act together and be more customer oriented.
