I’m a real papa Johns Fan, I don’t really know what happened this time. My “New York Pizza Style” was overcooked burn on the back. This is not a NYC pizza taste also. I was surprised when I saw my order was poorly made. But thanks, I know will not come again. There’s a Mama Lucia place very close from your location, I will go there now.

The food is serviceable. Sometimes it’s cooked well, most of the time it’s a little under or overdone, but nothing too offensive. On occasion, they get a dipping sauce wrong, but that’s not a huge deal for me.

So I ordered dominos, but my mom and brother got papa johns. They put in their online order at least 15 minutes before I put in mine, and theirs said it would take 47-57 minutes. As we waited for our food, my dominos came after about 40 minutes of placing my order (part of it was wrong though so they had to send me another one), but my mom’s and brother’s pizza from papa johns still hadn’t arrived. I joked around saying “wouldn’t it be funny if my replacement pizza from dominos came before your papa johns?” And you know what happened? It did. I got TWO separate dominos orders before my mom and brother got ONE order from papa johns. About an hour and 15/20 minutes and for about half that time it said “out for delivery”. Super slow, and the pizza is just mediocre (hence the reason I had gotten dominos instead)

OMG I LOVE PAPA JOHNS SO MUCH!!! Literally the best pizzas I’ve ever had. These people really know what they’re doing. I always get the Garden Fresh since I’m a vegetarian, and their pizzas are absolutely amazing. The crust is soft and chewy while being a bit crisp at the same time tho never burnt. The toppings are pretty generous and they have a lot of flavour to them (bell pepper on pizza is amazing omg). The sauce is so delicious and the whole pizza has just so much flavour to it! The pizzas never leave me feeling hungry nor bloated, they’re perfect. They even TASTE healthy!!! I even eat all the cheese off the pizzas, with most other pizzas I’ll put most of the cheese off to the side and such bc I’m not a big fan of cheese tbh, but OMG even the cheese on this is good. I usually don’t like tomatoes on pizza but omg Papa Johns just makes it work. Papa Johns just makes everything work!!! I love that they add in little containers of garlic dipping sauce PLUS jalapenos on the side for no extra cost. I seriously love this place and will ALWAYS get my pizzas here!!! <3

I use their online service to do a carry-out order today. It was a simple two large pizzas with one of their dessert cookie pies. Normally it should only take about 30 minutes once you place an order to pick up your order. However when I went to go pick up my order, it wasn’t ready. Mind you, I did not ask for a plan ahead time. Placed an order and expected to pick it up within 30 minutes. By the time my order was ready 52 minutes had already went by. I don’t know if it was their system or if it was just they didn’t have my order ready. What I do know is that it shouldn’t take an hour for an order like that to be ready especially when I stood in there and it was not even busy. The pizza looks good ask at the cookie pie so this review is basically more about timeliness or their lack of.
