Took two hours for a delivery. Waited over a hour for them to even start making the pizza. The manager at this store can be rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately this isn’t our first time dealing with this. This will be our last. Other pizza chains in the area have way better customer service. The only reason for a two star review is because the delivery drivers are always so nice.

Orders this evening. One of the most simple orders. A papadia and a water. Added a garlic since it wouldn’t let me switch out ranch. Order came quick, no call like I requested and no garlic. Call the store to be greeted by a rude condescending manager who stated there was no garlic on their receipt and asking if I want it. I said yes, that’s why I ordered it. You could tell she wasn’t pleased. Well now I’m even more unpleased as a second driver came back with the garlic and then opened my box of food to check as if I was lying!! I don’t want to eat that now after his maskless face was over it. Done!

If I could give them a lower review I would. Taking money without the delivery of goods is a very bad business practice. Called the location and was told that the pizzas were made, but not yet with the delivery driver. Said that it might be another 30 minutes. By that time it’ll be 2 hours….if it gets here. The woman that answered the phone indicated that they had no control of how much time the app gave the orders, but that the 41 minutes given wasn’t accurate….they were busy. The app states our pizzas were delivered. Money taken, goods not delivered. Ordered at 5:14pm, it’s now 6:55pm.

Guy that answers the phone at the Clemmons location always says delivery will be 1.5-2 hours. Doesn’t matter what day of the week or time you call. Really? Hmmmm. Called the WS Papa John’s just now and they were super nice, order will be ready in 20 minutes….

I tried to call in an order and someone picked the phone up and immediately placed me on hold. The person did not even speak. So after five minutes I hung up and called back. Spoke to Josh, the assistant manager, who was extremely hesitant to give me his name. He said, “well Fridays are our busiest times.” I took that statement to mean it is quite okay to be rude and unprofessional on Fridays. What in the world? I then asked for the Managers name…..he was again hesitant. Finally, after some stumbling he told me Todd. Then he once again hesitating as to when Todd would be available. For them…..business is now lost! For me, I get to go somewhere else with great customer service and a little more maturity! Papa John’s may be interested in having there employees complete a course on professionalism and manners.

Never going to order from this rude place ever again.. I had placed an ordered via the Papa John App for a family member in the Clemmons area. I was tracking status of the order placed via app. The app showed that the pizza was delivered. After about 30 or 40 mins later of thr app showing pizza was delivered, my family texted and asked if the delivery is coming because they didn’t receive the pizza delivery yet. I called the store , no name was given when they answered. I’m assuming it was the manager or according to the automated service to press # to speak to manger. Anywho, I explained the situation of the order showing delivered but family didn’t get the delivery. The guy on the phone asked the driver that was there in the store and driver said the pizza was handed to some kid (a girl) that answered the door. While on the phone , I was texting my family member of what the delivery guy is telling me. And family member said , no pizza and no one in their home open the door and got the pizza handed to them. The guy on the phone keep insisting ” well the pizza got delivered to ……” what do you want me to do about it? We’re very busy. ” I was frustrated as I keep explaining are there is no pizza. No one opened the door and got the pizza from the delivery guy. Maybe they got the wrong house. I just told the store I’ll call them back. When I did call back they were even more rude but then probably realized they we’re such a jerk and asked if I wanted to reorder which I didn’t becuase I was so tired of the whole situation.. About 10-15 mins later , my family member texted me and said they found the pizza in their drive way, which is on the other side of their home, not the front door as stated. And certainly, not handed to anyone in their home. And of course, the pizza was cold by now. I understand Papa John’s is trying to practice contactless delivery,, but as stated on their website and app that “contactless” the pizza delivery guy will place the place down and knock or ring door bell and step back 6ft and wait for pizza to be picked up.. Awful customer service . I felt awful because I wanted my family to have a nice warm pizza, but instead had to deal with these rude people from Papa John’s. Horrible experience. Never again!!! Should have gone with Doordash or some other delivery driver than deal with Papa John’s delivery people!

The PJ website and app button to order the special we wanted didn’t work. All the other specials worked except the pickup special. So I started driving there and called fromy car. I got hung up on twice. Whem I got there to pay, it was more expensive than the special I had ordered (a 1 topping large pizza). When I explained that I ordered the special and just wanted an additional topping to make it a Hawaiian, the girl told me that it counts as a specialty pizza (Hawaiian Extreme). I said that I didn’t want the extreme but just the regular Hawaiian, and she said the only Hawaiian they have is the extreme. Whatever, I got it anyway. I took a seat and waited for my pizza clearly in view of the worker. Finally, after 20 minute I asked if my pizza was ready. It was, with a few others stacked on top of it. The girl never bothered to check to see if it was ready. Not going back to this Papa John’s.

The online ordering process is great. The customer service is not. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes to get 2 pizzas. And I was 7 minutes from the restaurant. When the pizza finally got here it was not even hot and there really was no flavor. I called the restaurant to complain and had to wait on hold and listen to lots of offers before I was even able to speak to a human. I was offered a gift certificate but I politely declined. I have no intention of waiting for another mediocre pizza for that long again.
